• Opinion from Beolab to Stage

I have both BL4000 failed and repaired this year, Since my whole system was bought at the same time (ard 12 years ago). I have a bad feeling that they are going one by one. I asked my B&O dealer here and repairing the one BL8000 will cost around $600. But if the BL2 fail, the cost to repair will be very high and they no longer support BL10. Despite I hope to see a "new in our dream Stage 2", I honestly don't think it will arrive on time. So I am thinking to sell my BL8000, BL10

I believe/hope B&O will eventually release a new centre speaker that can link with other beolab speakers for a proper 5.1/7.1/or even x.x.x setup, aka my "Dream Stage 2". :P I don't expect the Stage can beat a proper 5.1 setup, but I hope it will suffice during this transitional period before my other speakers fail.
Hi, I think, chickenceo means a lot of us dreams of the „Stage 2“ Evolution to 5.1 or 7.1 System as a Master like Beosystem 4 to use our „old“ Beolabs in their fully function as Surround System on a „Free“ LED or OLED TV like the new LG with our System Remote BeoRemote One BT.
Exactly! Thank you

  • Beocenter 2 black portion material?

My Beocenter 2 black lower half became tacky. Before I go ahead and remove the paint, does anyone know if the lower portion is made of plastic or metal? Thanks!

  • Re: Beolab speakers for live music?

What do you mean by "non extstent low mid response". I am asking cause my friend once listened to my BL8000 and said to me right away there is no mid-range with my system. I have BL2 attached so he is no complaining about the bass. Thanks!
Not sure of the wisdom of using b&o speakers for any sort of "professional" use. So getting destroyed by weather or thrown beers are not a big issue. They're very fine home/indoor sets that's for sure

  • Re: Beolab 4000 potential problem ?

I have the BL4000 as rear speakers for more than ten years. Got one of the amp replaced around two years ago and the other one is developing a sharp static noise recently. So seems like it’s time to replace the amp for this side as well.

  • Re: Do you use loudness?

Thank Geoff for your through explanation. So the loudness on my BS3 is like a "intelligent" boost. Something I have to try. Currently I adjusted all my speakers to around 64db and the subwoofer at around 68-70db, I have already dialled the subwoofer level to the lowest and the BL2 is already set to "corner", and that is the lowest db I can get from the subwoofer. To compensate, I have tried to move the BL2 away from the wall as far as possible. Having said that, I am not getting

  • Re: Do you use loudness?

While we are at this topic. Can someone explain a newbie question... 1) Loudness is suppose to bring up base at low volume level. What is the difference between turn on loudness vs bringing the subwoofer up 1 or 2 db higher? 2) What is the difference between adjusting the subwoofer db vs adjusting the bass level? Thanks!

  • Re: Beovision 7 floor stand with non-BO TV -- possible?

Look aside, this one keeps the tilt function whereas STB can only rotate.
for those who only need a mechanical bracket with VESA there are also solutions for mounting a TV on BV7-32 and BV7-40 https://shop.oneremote.dk/shop/69109-tv-vaegbeslag-til-bo/
