    My Core Sound/Optical configuration matches what you have. I am perplexed. Perhaps it's a faulty optical cable. However, I literally just purchased it last night, brand new from Best Buy. I can't think of anything else, though.

    Great news! I have swapped the "powerlink to phono" cable with a "powerlink to powerlink" cable between the transmitter and Core, and the TV audio works now! And I can control the volume smoothly with the B&O app. I'm still using the same optical cable between the TV and the Core, so the difference is with the connection between the Core and Transmitter. Not sure why the "powerlink to phono" cable wouldn't work. Thanks for your help.

    Hi folks, This is my first post, so please be kind. I've searched the forums for a solution to my issue, but have not found a solution that I'm satisfied with. Thus, here I am, sharing my dilemma with you fine people.
