  • Re: Beogram CD X schematic inconsistency

Do I understand correctly that the 1000uF instead of 1500uF was installed standardly? But I understand what you saying, just curious and want to be sure.

  • Beogram CD X schematic inconsistency

Hello, I am trying to fix my Beogram CD X. I am now checking supply board and find weird fact in the schematics. The capacitor with number 2473 (the one in the air soldered to decoding board) should be 1nF 30V regarding the listing on page 2-2. In the schematic on page 1-4 is written 47n as value. The reality (in case of my board) matches the schematic on page 1-4 as there is 473 M5C capacitor... What is the proper value? Another inconsistency is in case of 2640. There is the same value in schematic

So Dillen you were more than right. There were the following gear mechanism glued by dried vaseline. I cleaned it, check the rest and now machine works.

  • Re: Beocord 5500 rewind/fast forward

I changed drawer belt only so far. The mechanic belt is still original one I guess. I just do not want to buy a new belt, do all replacement for nothing :-D I was looking into the service manual of 5500 but I am not sure if I find proper "place" to measure protect signal you mentioned. Is it the following I/O? : This 15 I/O is going from tape head. Thank you very much for your help!

  • Beocord 5500 rewind/fast forward

Hello guys, I have exactly the same issues as described here: https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/22235/183904.aspx#183904 but on Beocord 5500. If you do not want to read the inserted post, Beocord 5500 plays fine but goes to standby arter 1 second after rewind/fast forward started. I checked the mechanic for issues but find none. How can I test that the belt is the origin of my problems? Or are there any other thing I should check?

  • Recap listing for CD X

Hello, does anybody here have a listing of material to recap whole machine? I know I can do it following the service manual but if anybody have listing with note of capacitor type with count it would be very helpful. Thanks Majlanky

  • Re: Beogram CD 5500 no sound on the right channel

I replaced C100 and R126 and right channel is working now. Thx Martin!

  • Re: Beogram CD 5500 no sound on the right channel

Ok, I did the measuring and it looks like Martin was right. IC11 has 0V on pin 4 (negative) instead of -15V. Voltage on R126 is -15,26V and voltage on C110 is 0,67V. I will try to replace both capacitor and resistor and mark the response as an answer if everything works. Or should I expect some secondary troubles around the operation amplifier?

First of all, thank you very much for the response Martin... Do I understand correct I should check voltage on pin 4 because burned resistor R126 and shortened C110 can make wrong voltage? My apologies for stupid questions but I have only basic knowledge so I need very specific guidance
