  • Wanted modification for Beolab 1

Hello! I found a modification for the Beolab 1 made by Glenn Guillot (Beo Tech) its a 3steps guide. http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/beolab1.htm The problem is that there is only part 1 & 2. Part 3 is missing. Where can I find this Glenn Guillot? I would like to do this modification, but I need part 3. Have you guys try this mod, and does it work good?

I have not tried any modification yet. Glenn Guillot says: Stay tuned for modifications Part III ;) Thats why i haven't tried it, and I still have warranty on the speakers. Desmo: Part 1 didn`t do much? thats to bad :( Glenn maybe didn`t do any part 3, its that what you mean?

  • Re: Make a custom frame like Beovision 4 for projector screen?

Maybe you could try this cablecovers in aluminium. Cut them in 45° in the corners, bolt the bottomplate on the wall/white plate and then click the cover back on the bottomplate, easy and pretty godlooking :) http://eu.bosscom.com/product.asp?id=174&m1=1108&m2=1965&m3=&m4=

I have recently bought a 4066 cabinet with motor, but the motor unit only have a round 5-pin connector. My BV3-32 has a square input-connector. I don't understand it be course underneath it says: Motor unit BeoVision 3 stand Type No: 4066 Item No: 1406666 Serial No: 17599397 The motor is located under the cabinet, if it will help. I would appreciate if someone could help me solve this problem.

  • BeoPlay S8 questions.

Hello! I`m thinking to replace my 4 Beolab 6000 as rear speaker. The S8 seams to do a good job as rear speakers, and they take up little space. Is it possible to connect 2 BeoPlay S8 kit as rear speaker (surround & rear surround) and address the 2 subwoofers as ordinary subwoffers. We are doing some rebuilding in our living room and small rear speakers would to the job :) Have anyone tried this solution, and will it sound good? Best regards Marcus

  • Re: BeoPlay S8 questions.

Thank you Millemissen for your info. I did`t thougt that would be a problem :( but I glad you told me :) I dont wanna change my BV7/BS3 solution, so I have to rethink my speaker change. Maybe I go for the BL4, the BL3 is out of my budget right now. Its the second life market I am looking for and the BL3 is 3 times the price of a BL4. My subwoofer is a wall mounted model, and I like it for for music, and think its enough for movies as well. I thought 2 woofers would be more satisfying, and would fill

  • Re: Help needed! Masterlink problem

Thanks Opman! I have tried all the things you told me, but with no luck 3 hours ago, me and some friend were going to se a movie (the burning) oldie but goldie and the beosystem was completely dead, not even a red standby lamp. I still have warrenty on the BS3 so no big worry, but very annoying and don't feel very safe for the future Unplugged the mains again, but nothing. And then suddenly it start to work, even the BS3200 now play everything. Strange, but glad we could se the movie, and now

  • Help needed! Masterlink problem

Hello Beoworlders! My wife recently noticed that the BS3200 in our living room don´t react with the Beo4 remote. Don't now what´s wrong? it´s connected to a Beovision 4-50 (Beosystem 3) that works fine with video-command (a.tv,dvd/bluray,dtv), but nothing happen with audio-command (radio,a.mem,cd, a.aux) But in our lounge we can control the BS3200 with no problem and get the sound to our Beovision 3-32. In the living room the Beovision is set to option 2 and the BS3200 is set
