The TV type number is 9560. thanks!

So I have got myself a Cona and an MCL2P which I would like to connect to my BV8-40. I have connected a powerlink cable to the SUB outlet of the DD module however when I select speakers 5 the MCL2P does not switch on. Does anybody have any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks!

  • PUC with Amino M540

Does anybody know if the Amino M540 STB can be controlled with the PUC G-Amino? There are three entry's in the PUC list but none of them specific for this model which my fibre provider provides. This is a model with HD. The Amino 140 is without, can this be controlled through PUC?

  • Beolab 4500 display question

Does anyone know that if I connect a set of Beolab 4500's as rear speakers to my Beovision 8-40 I will get display info? The BV 8-40 is also connected to my Beomaster 4500 through a ML/MCL convertor but all speakers are connected directly to the TV. Thanks for your help!

  • Beolab 4500 buzz

So after polished out the scratches I installed my Beolab 4500's. I was planning to connect them through powerlink cable but as these Beolabs were previously Beovox 4500's I decided after reading the manual that I could just connect them through speakerlink. The speakers are connected as rear speaker through a MCL2P connected to my Beovision 8-40. They sound fine but they don't switch off when I switch off the rest of the set and a buzz remains after a while. Any idea what could be wrong

The reason i am not using powerlink cables is that I allready have speaker link cabling in place. From the manual it seems as it makes no difference in the way you connect the cables (speakerlink or powerlink). I you connect it to a Beomaster you can even get display info over speakerlink.

If your not too picky about the looks of the headpones try the Koss Porta Pro. Amazing sound for a fraction of the price. I haven't used my A8's or U70's since I got them. The special BBC edition looks a little better and it's available with a mic as well. http://www.koss.com/en/products/headphones/on-ear-headphones/PortaPro__Porta_Pro_On_Ear_Headphone

Yes i did switch the switch to video like the manual mentioned. The setting of the sensitivity switch was in the product config program. Could one of the following be of influence? - i only connected one speaker as i am testing before putting new wiring in. - choice of speaker in the audio setting on my bv8? Currently i have selected a beolab 4000.

  • Beolab 4500 connection

I have a pair of Beovox 4500 which function as rear speakers for my Beovision 8-40 through a MCL2P. Last year I managed to get a hold of the amplifiers turning the Beovoxes into Beolab 4500. The work fine through the MCL2P but I want to connect them through powerlink so as to have the speakers switch off automatically. I acquired some powerlink cables (the thick fully wired ones) and I made a setup connecting the 4500 with powerlink but they don't seem to switch on. The product config program

  • Beosound 3 top panel

I bought a Beosound 3 last year, however the top panel has become unresponsive. As there is no warranty on it I tried the solution posted on the forum here to use electric spray. Unfortunatly it did not work. Does anybody know how much a replacement panel will cost? I can replace it myself. Mark
