  • Problem with Beovision 7-40 and Beomaster 7000 connection

All, I have a Beovision 7-40 connected to a Beomaster 7000 with TV set to option 2 (Video and Audio master), and the Beomaster to option 0 and everything has been working well. However now if I am listening to an audio source and then select a video source, the Beomaster no longer powers off but remains on. Also if listening to a Beomaster source and press off the Beomaster source remains on whilst the TV turns off. Anyone know what I need to set to get this behaviour back. Regards, Paul

  • Use of RF (LINK) output and Distribution amplifier

I currently have a Beovision 7-40 and Sky HD, I watch Sky on old (non B&O) televisions by using the Sky RF out connected to an loft box distribution amplifier. If I move to Sky Q I would no longer be able to do this. Can I connect the B&O RF (Link) output to the distribution box as an alternative? I have tried various experiments with no success, or do I need a RF link amplifier? Or any other suggestions. Thanks in anticipation. Paul

  • Re: Use of RF (LINK) output and Distribution amplifier

I have now purchased a RF link amplifier with return path and followed the connection diagram but am not getting a signal out from the television. I have the BeoVision 7-40 Link set to on and have tried both connecting to the distribution amplifer and straight to a non B&O television. Any ideas what else I need to do?

I have now Masterlinked the two B&O and the link TV works fine. From reading this forum I would expect that if I set the Modulator was set to ON I would see the link channel as long as I wasn't viewing HD, but this isn't the case and I always have to activate the link via the linked TV, am I missing something? As partt of the same process I am trying to split an HDMI signal, does anyone know of an HDMI splitter with a fixed resolution rather adjusting to the lowest resolution of the connected

  • BEO5 and Sky Q PUC

I have just had the PUC tables on my Beovision 7 40 and 6 26 upgraded to add Sky Q and it's all working ok though because I have older Beo4s I am told I cannot access all the functionality. My problem is with my BEO5, without changes it does not work well and is no longer supported by B&O, I have a copy of the config tool but don't know how to make the changes to make Sky Q work well Paul

  • Re: SkyQ update now limited control with Beo4

I have had the upgrade to SkyQ with my Beovision 7 40 and a Beo4 without the navi button and everything works like it used to. Though I have never been able to fast forward but only to jump forwards, and not sure if there are other functionality I can't use but all the menu functions work.

  • Re: Beolab 3500

Steve, I was looking at installing a Beolink Active in my kitchen with a pair of active speakers I have and also connecting my TV to it to gain better speakers. I might have the chance of acquiring a Beolab 3500 and was trying to see if I could do the same. Paul

  • Beovision 7 40 Stand Problem

Having been tidying the cables behind mt Beovision I now have a problem with the stand, I can tilt the screen OK but cannot rotate at all. In the adjustment menu it still senses the screen position. I have tried a power off with including unplugging the stand cable then plugging it in and powering back on. I'm stumped any ideas? Paul

  • Re: Beoplayer & BeoSound 6 on Windows Vista

If the problem is registering then you cannot via the internet. Beocare sent me the following link to fix the registration https://www.dropbox.com/s/42r2je36ibmujp0/N.Radio.reg?dl=0 , I downloaded it as a .reg file and ran it from the command line. There is a previous post discussing this. Paul
