  • Beocord 9000 with Beomaster 7000

I have a Beocord 7000 in my setup. How much better is the Beocord 9000 in terms of recording and playback? Is it possible to control the Beocord 9000 through datalink with Beomaster 7000 / Beolink 1000? I know the two datalink protocols are different, but I wonder if they share the same code for play, stop, forward, which are the most important controls? Is the Beocord 9000 controlled through the Beomaster (8000/6000) or can it be controlled independently with a remote control? I use the Beocord

Thanks, Martin :-) Cool that you can connect the two systems. So, it would improve the quality of recording and playback on the 7000, if you reverse the cassette manually ? Is that also the case with the 8004/9000? Is it better at both recording and playback, or would it be possible to record with the 8004/9000 and playback on the 7000 without compromising quality? Jens

  • Beogram 7000 detection of 33 / 45 not working

Hi all, My Beogram 7000 turntable does not detect a 45 rpm record (Single), but lowers the pickup arm as if it was a 33 rpm record (LP). It does not play if there is no record on the platter, so I believe the detector is somehow working. Is it the same detector that detects if it is an LP or a Single? How does it actually detect the record, is it some kind of light sensor or the like, and where is it placed? Best regards, Jens Rendboell

Is it possible to connect two Beomaster 7000 in a master / slave setup via MCL-AV or the like, and be able to control audio linkroom sources like cd, tape or beogram turntable? Rendboell

Beomaster 7000 tilsluttet i samme rum (Bi-Amping).
