It is simple but also a bit boring.

Re: Beocord 2000 2923, no sound output
I managed to locate the issue. IC2 on the Dolby board was defect forcing the Beocord into REC mode when it should be in playback mode. This occidentally erased my tape, so be careful using a tape with no value when troubleshooting :-) /Pindsen

Re: Beocord 2000 2923, no sound output
I have the same issue with a Beocord 3500. Everything works except no sound. There are no light/respons in VU meter. C417 is changed - same issue C212, C214, C412 and C414 changed - same issue. There are 9,2VDC at C417, at little higher than schematic (7,4V). Are there any suggestions what might be the cause? /Pindsen

Re: B&O sales boost.
If B&O still has customers for a device with an optical drive, maybe - it's really hard to tell. I still listen to and buy new CD's and could be a possible buyer. I have reflected many times about the fact that B&O not anymore support physical media, Cassette I can understand, CD - there might still be a small niche market if done right but a more certain success could be a new turntable at least if we look at the increasing sales of records for turntables (at least in DK). Beosound Century Type 2656
Hi, I have become hold of a Beosound Century type 2656, but that type is not mentioned in the service manual I have. What country, voltage and radio reception (FM, AM) does it comply to?

Re: Beomaster 2000 Type 2801 - R1
Hi, The resistor was actually not burned, just cracked and with a higher value of approx. 142R. Maybe the resistor was damaged due to 7IC101 and 7IC102 was short-circuited (7F101 and 7F102 was also blown). That apprently also damaged 7R110 and 7TR103. After replacing all components and adjusting the idle current the receiver played very well again. /Pindsen
