  • Controlling Beosound 9000 CD from Beolab 3500.

I have a Beosound 9000 and have it connected to a set of 8000 speakers. A little while back the remote stopped working and many trials have led to the position that the IR receiver board has failed on the 9000. The 8000's are connected to the 9000 powerlink out plugs. Yesterday I acquired a Beolab 3500 Mark 1 and have connected this directly to the 9000 using the ML cable. With the 3500 only plugged in, the manual volume buttons on the 9000 don't work anymore, but I have full functionality

Next issue. Glass door. I set up the unit this morning, laying flat on a bench and opened the glass maybe 7 times, whilst loading and changing CD's. Played music for a while then went out to work. Just came back inside and turned on the power. Went to open the door and it wont lift more than an inch. Give it a slight help on the right side and it opens. Push the button again and the door slams shut. Like drops, no gearing at all. Absolutely perfect this morning, now not working. Like a whiring

  • Re: B&O equipments not responding to BEO4/5 remotes, help

Another Beo4 not working. I have a 9000 cd changer and the Beo4 wont operate anything at all on the unit. I changed the batteries and then using my mobile phone camera and looking at the IR emitter, I was able to see all three IR lights operating with every button on the remote. I've searched everywhere I can think of to try and see if the Beo4 may have lost sync to the 9000 or even where the IR receiver is located on the 9000 but haven't found anything at all relating to this issue. Any

  • 9000 CD player question

Hey guys. I just purchased my first 9000 series CD changer and in the process of setting it up. The FM antennae plug looks odd, and I'm starting to wonder if it may be the end of a previously installed cable, broken off in there. Could anyone possibly share a picture of the AM and FM connections with no cables inserted please.
