• Beoplay M3 - stereo paring via bluetooth possible?

Is it possible to pair two Beoplay M3 loudspeaker to a stereo set? I would like to pair two Beoplay M3 loudspeaker to a stereo set and connect both M3s via bluetooth to a music source, is this possible? When I understand the advertisement of the new Explore correct, it is possible with these loudspeakers. But is it possible with the older Beoplay M3, too?

  • Re: Opportunity to talk directly with Bang & Olufsen...

I use Roon and I stream via Airplay to my different NL loudspeakers, from this viewpoint there is no need for NL for me. BUT, Question: I often use "touch-to-join" when I go to another room to listen / connect another NL loudspeaker to the current playing one. Does this still work with the new loudspeakers based on Mozart? Or is this Airplay feature only available with old NL speakers?

  • Re: Control4 vs. Beoliving Intelligence / Khimo

@BeoMatthew: Thank you very much for your the insights and your feedback. Great! I have three further questions regarding Control4: Currently I am streaming from my NAS with Roon via Airplay to my B&O endpoints. I think to move to Control4 (perhaps Beoliving Intelligence - adventages?) to control my B&O endpoints (among other home automation devices). 1) Can I continue to stream via Airplay or should I switch to stream via Control4, what are the advantages? 2) In the case of streaming via

@pjk561: Thank you very much for the detailed description of your use case. It sounds very interesting. @all: At all my B&O NL products I find the option „Send a new identification message to the control4 system“. What features does Control4 provide, when I link it? Do I get similar functionalities to control my B&O devices via Control4 app like the B&O app offers?

  • Control4 vs. Beoliving Intelligence / Khimo

So far I understood both Control4 and Beoliving Intelligence from Khimo are able to integrate B&O NL products into a home-automation set-up. Are there experiences what is the better product / better way to go? Regarding useabilty, 3rd party driver / integration, future proof, price, etc.

  • Re: BeoLiving Intelligence

@LuffeDK Yes, very good question! Answers would be interesting for me, too. I am currently experimenting with different Apple Homekit devices (e.g. Philips Hue, Netatmo) and Siri. What additional home automation functionalities can I add to Bang&Olufsen devices by using Beoliving Intelligence?

  • Re: The BeoSound Moment is the best audio system B&O ever created...

I like the concept (and design) of the Beosound Moment as dedicated music audio system with a tablet and volume control on top. But unfortunately Bang&Olufsen totally screwed up turning a great concept into a working system. I do not understand why B&O does not open the operating system / firmware of Beosound Moment for a second useful life? The Beosound Moment Soundheart could be a nice Roon Lab endpoint and the Beosound Moment Jukebox a nice Roon Labs control tablet realized for example

  • Re: Roon

I love Roon. I have the Roon Core installed on my NAS and stream to my loudspeakers via Airplay. I use Airplay because I can multiroom sync different loudspeakers within the Roon App. When you use Chrome Cast (CC), you also have to use Google Home App to sync / group different CC devices. And I do not like to change between different Apps for related tasks. As former user of the Beosound Moment and iOS Bang&Olufsen App (a horrible user experience for me) I am very happy that I found a company

  • Re: Beosound 2 - Roon RAAT question

It would be really great if B&O would offer Roon RAAT / Roon ready!

  • Re: No more B&O sound system?
The problem with this is it just looks like crap.
That it a question of taste, use case and touch screen your are purchasing. But at least it seems to work, something you do not experience always with B&O software / firmware. I personally use iPads to control Room. I stream via Airplay from my Roon Core to my B&O loudspeakers (Beoplay A9, Beosound Core, Beosound 35). I know Airplay is not a hi-res solution, but using B&O Netlink NL the streaming
