  • Beolab 9. Easy to blow???

Guys. Hallo. I've had every speaker except for 5's. Is there an inherent fault with the protection on theses speakers? They seem to blow so easily. Any ideas?? Dank. x (edited.. the original post contained off-topic references - this is a family site)

  • Re: Beovision 5 format.

Hi Dave, thanks for your reply. Everything is set up as normal, hooked up b&O TV's many times, never had a problem with scart connections/digital box before (with format working properly , that's why it's a bit odd! Have no idea what it may be.....

  • Beovision 5 format.

Hello guys. i hope you are all having a nice Sunday. I have a beovision 5, with a strong box. It used to turn on with the right picture format automatically. I unplugged and moved it, reconnected. The picture fills the screen, but is compressed. The strong box is on the right setting, and have tried every setting when the TV is turned on, but none look correct, unless you press format 3 on the beo 4. I have to press format 3 every time to get a natural picture when TV is turned on. Does anyone know

  • Re: What is audiophile and why is B&O arguably not audiophile?

Had both. B&O is the bomb. Superb style, and great sound if set up properly. Some of B&O cheaper speakers sound 'very average.' This is the same with any manufacturer. Listen to a Century (over 20 years old) and the sound is just amazing, compared to all these new bluetooth speakers or compact systems.) RIP Jacob Jensen (you big spunk.) True pioneer.

  • Re: Beovox RL 7000

I was waiting for it Ben. Yes. That is the ONLY AMP that is close to be able to run these. I had a pair of RL 7000's hooked up to a 9500. HIDEOUS!! Hooked them up to a Musical Fidelity amp (120 watts a side) SUBLIME!!! Never had an 8000, but many peoples favourite. They look great!

  • Re: Beovox RL 7000

I've had both. Little difference. You need a meaty amp to run them. Nothing B&O makes is up to scratch. (Arguments coming....) You need minimum 100+ watts a channel, then they sound sublime. Buy them. They're a big speaker, but if you have the room, they're great!!!

  • Non HD Beovision 5 with apple TV version 1?

Does this work? I saw there are RCA outputs on the original apple TV box, obviously you can get a Scart converter to run RCA's etc in. Any advice? Ps.... Is Lesley still on here? Dank.
