• Re: Beovision 8-32 DVB

Sorry it took 6 months to see your reply. That's an interesting way of doing it. I've never had a product without scart or phono output but increasingly they will be HDMI only. The BV8 certainly have a very useful array of connections. I am looking for a small version (26") B&O have unfortunately neglected the small TV segment

  • LX5500

I have an LX TV in a room with an MCL2A. I can access main room sources with the link command using a TV channel tuned to the link frequency. But this LX seems to just switch off the tuner as soon as link> source is selected. It is not a link issue because I had another LX in the same room which worked OK. I wonder if its an option setting on the TV. I have tried both option 1 & 2 but it is the same.

Thanks Lawrence I will try that. No physical connection though between the TV and MCL in this case.

  • Beovision LX5500

I have a BV LX5500 in Rosewood. In the family since new and still in good working order other than when first switched on there is sometimes a temporary magenta haze over the picture. This clears and it is then very sharp. I have a wheeled stand or a motorised one also. Anyone interested? Collection from Skipton area UK.

  • Re: Beovision 8-32 DVB

Thanks very much for that. All set up now and DVB working fine. If I use it as a link TV I will need an analogue feed as well so both inputs will be in use. Thanks for the help David

  • Beovision 8-32 DVB

I have inherited a BV8 32. There is a DVB aerial input in the connection panel but I don't know how to activate the module. Unlike the BV8-40 there does not appear to be an option to select between analogue and digital tuners. Perhaps there is no DVB module even mounted, but why then would there be an aerial socket for it? David

I have one of these Peter complete with instructions. It would be 45GBP plus 12.95 GBP postage to the US. Regards, David.

  • Beocom Mains Charger

Does anyone have a spare Beocom 6000 or Beocom 4 charger - either UK or Europe version? They are branded "ONTOP" and have a male RJ11 socket on the other end.

  • Beocom 4 mains unit

Can anyone give me the part number of this or point me in the direction of someone who has a spare one? It was lost in a house move. Thanks David.
That’ll be the mute relay. A relatively easy fix and plenty of advice if you search the forum
Indeed there is thank you Guy.
