  • Re: Beogram 5500 tone arm lowers too soon

Yet another time an old thread here on Beoworld solved my problem. My Beogram 5500 started to lowered the needle to soon for a while and then stopped working last week. Mounted a small screw and nut instead, and gave it a clean and some new belts. Now playing like new again :) Thanks!

  • Re: Beogram 4000c - Recreated Limited Edition

I have a 4000/4002 in need for some love in my garage. Guess I will have to call them and see, if I can get 1000-2000€ for it :) No, I really like the idea, that they are creating a "new" turntable. I would love it even more if they did a new and AFFORDABLE turnbtable instead; I think there would be a market for it.

  • Re: Beocord 2000 (2921)

Martin did (of course) have the correct motor in stock. However, I took the chance on the Beocord 5500. It was 10€ and local to me. Swapped the motors, and now the old Beocord 2000 is playing again. Thanks for your help though, Martin.

  • Beocord 2000 (2921)

I have my uncles Beocord 2000 on the bench. It has great sentimental value to him, so I really want to get it going again. The motor is dead (tried tender massage, drop of oil etc.). Where do I find a new one? It says ‘MMI-6A2RK’ on the back. Could I use the motor from i.e. a Beocord 5500?

Can anyone help me with a photo of the floor stand power supply? I think mine is missing something underneath.

Prøv at kontakte brugeren "Dillen" herinde. Han hedder Martin, og virker meget kompetent til service og reparation af ældre B&O.

Check the DIN plug. The mounting angle causes the wires to break.

Found this advert in a danish car magazine from 1970. It says: "Top News! Judge it by its sound quality and take all its other refinements as Premiums! The requirements for sound quality has grown rapidly in the later years. But how can these demands be satisfied in a transistor radio? Within small dimensions? B&O has done it by, amongst other things, equipping the new Beolit 600 with a specially developed speaker - with a ceramic magnet og a frequenzy- area on 60-15.000Hz! This has so far

Enig.

  • Re: Beomaster 7000 bridge rectifier

Thanks for the advise. I recently bought a Beosystem 7000 (minus the Beogram) where the Beomaster was dead. A new rectifier solved the problem, and it´s now back to life again.
