• Re: B&O 4000's with Airplay
Hi Michael; do you have a picture of this volume controller and idea of where you bought it? I'm having trouble finding it in Singapore.....
Hi Klas i'll take a photo of it on the weekend and post for you. I am going to try Eds suggestion (which I actually forgot about). I'll also try it with my BL4s as well. All the best. Michael ;-) PS if you're having trouble, and if i can't think of a way with out it i can send you one.

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!
well as you may know from another thread I have acquired a BV8-40 to join my BV8-32 so while I don't have as nice a set-up as elms I thought I would show the baby that arrived almost 3 years ago:
I have the same TV as elms, but Ed, i think it's reminiscent of the BV8 - a tv on a soundstage. I love the 32 BV8 and it's good to see you now have more BV goodness spread throughout the house. What's that interface you used with Diana Krall with

  • Re: How would you play ...

Hi Ed, Ok. Well it's been raining here as you know for a few days now. The TV sees the WD not as an extension but as a drive on the network. The TV doesn't see the TC because it's not DLNA. If you have a jailbroken ATV1 then you can see the TC, but you have to manually add it as an SMB Share. I tried Plex but I don't use it anymore - although i think it's superior to the XBMC (just my opinion). At the moment to see the WD, I use the TV's interface (no additional software)

iDo :-) (sorry couldn't help myself lol) http://www.cablejive.com/products/dockBoss.html http://www.cablejive.com/products/dockBossplus.html I was looking at either of these products for when I get rid of my iPhone I like the idea that a few other manufacturers have employed with their iPod docks - that they are interchangeable with a bluetooth receiver (yamaha and bose) - i'm sure someone will come up with this. Hope this helps MH
"PC load letter!?!? PC load letter?!?! What the **** does that mean?!?!"
Yeahhhhhhhh, we're gonna have to move your desk. To the basement. I'm listening to "Only the Beginning" by Deborah Conway. Next up, Nicki Minaj.

  • Re: BeoPlay TV a copy of Loewe Connect
I was very interested in this set, but it appears to have a feature set and size that would count me out. I really want larger than the 42 inch plasma I have now, at least 46, but larger would be better. I could live with a 46 if the design were truly outstanding, but as I say 50 or even 55 would be a better fit for what I want.
But V1 means that it's the first and there could easily be a V2 which offers larger sizes and a different styling. It's only

  • Re: Can B&O survive? Maybe soon?
Good luck to Beo Play - I think its the only way for the company to move forward.
I agree with this statement. It's clear the current offerings can only go so far. I wish all the best for the Beo Play. Perhaps the V1 is the right telly for my bedroom :-) I don't care that it looks like a Loewe and i reckon it's going to look hot in 32. I mean don't all TV's look somewhat similar anyway. I can't wait to see the different stand

T Box is also elderly friendly (incase you have any elderly family members). I bought 2 for people that find it so easy to use to record etc. But anyway, if you're in the area and want to see the setup, just let me know. I am thinking of putting a diagram together like that excellent one you had but i'll describe it: Lounge Room: Modem and Router in One (is not sending a wireless signal, just using for ethernet) Ethernet going in to a PowerLine adapter Remaining ethernet used to link to:
So I am back to my original plan, which was B&O link TVs .... unless someone can think of something smarter/faster than EyeTV
I suppose you could say that I have a stand alone setup already. 3 big ass TV's in 3 different rooms (Sony). Ed, I suppose it depends on what content you're wanting to distribute. If it's FTA why don't you just watch that as its happening? Or are you talking about things you've recorded via eyeTV? My setup is

  • Re: The best B&O stereo for a teenager girl

Hello François If you were wanting to purchase a used B&O stereo, probably for the same money you will be able to get a BeoLit12. As she already has a mac you can connect it to it as an external speaker and if she has an iPhone, it makes perfect sense. If you involve her in the purchase you could say "oh i've been looking at these, what colours do you like". I think for someone arty and and good taste the BeoLit12 is the way to go. Leslie, I was in the same situation when
