Thank you very much for your response it actually makes quite some sense. It is just i was not sure about the use of the transmitter. I thought that this could have been avoided.... One more question. Would you know if the core is IR sensitive or has become IR sensitive in order to avoid the use of the essence remote? Once more thanks for your prompt response!

Beolab 18, core and Samsung TV
Hello all, I have been reading this forum for a while but as i am not even close to be an "expert" i wanted to ask two questions and i would appreciate a lot if somebody could answer. There have been similar discussions in the past but i was not able to fully answer my questions. I have 2 B18s which were connected to the beo hub with my samsung tv ( UE78KS9080) but at the end it didn't stop giving problems. Now i am thinking to move to the Core and potentially i am thinking of getting
