  • Re: Beoremote One BT - different button structure and no manual

Thanks and there probably is a way to go into engineer mode or something like that and set the buttons up better but CBA so will put it down to lesson learned and try to get the full refund. It def is genuine product but like you say, locked down for guest to not be able to easily get into settings etc. Thanks for your advice as always

  • Beoremote One BT - different button structure and no manual

Hoping you guys can help. You helped me massively before with Shape issues. I have a Soundstage and also a LG C9 (not that that matters at this stage but I'll have some follow up queries re setting up the remote with the C9 or maybe just via the Soundstage) So I decided to treat myself to the Remote but to save some money I had an opportunity to buy second hand (as new) but it's arrived without a manual and here's the issue the buttons are different and so likely came with a TV and opposed

  • Re: Set up problems with Beosound Shape

Brilliant, thanks for the Video Link and the tip re reset. In the throws of things and swapping out components I think something has been missed and would like as much info to give to the installer tomorrow. I think the issue came from the fact that the initial setup was an ex demo system with one amp and 4 speakers and then a brand new amp and 2 further speakers have been added but the system can't set itself properly. Maybe it wasn't fully reset.

Having issues getting the Shape setup correctly. Local B&O guys have been out 3 times now and they're coming back Friday. Seem to be hitting a wall. My shape design won't load (unknown error - how useful) and they've tried swapping out the core and the amps now too. I've 2 amps and 6 speakers. Also seems to be an issues driving the speakers correctly connected to the 2nd amp (very faint and get a crack when you connect or sometime when you change tracks). They seem to be at a

Flooring down and extension complete. Think it looks a bit better than my mock up but planned it well ;-)

  • Re: Beosound Shape - what do you think now?

I had the shape installed last week (still in the middle of renovation but priorities and all that!) I've had a few issues and getting the slave amp replaced so will wait until then to give it a full review, I have 6 speakers but the system isn't recognising my shape design and so I believe I am not hearing it to it's true potential as yet. Look wise, wow love it and it will fit perfectly with the art I will have in the room and it's already a talking point.

One other quick question. What is the easiest way to control the volume for line in? I have my TV connected (Samsung and SKY Q) but can't seem to find a way of changing the volume without going right into the setup within the B&O app. I thought they might be an easy way to change volume in the app but the sound just allows you to mute, adjust equalizer and adjust the default volume. Here's a photo of the install for anyone interested

  • Re: Beosound Shape

Have my shape finally installed but I think I am having an issue with the core as I am getting some error messages and I cannot load my design. The error message is SlaveUpgradeFailed. Anyone ever seen this? I am not convinced that it's setup correct. I went for 6 speakers and so I feel that if it doesn't know the shape how can it work out what each speaker should do? Looks fantastic though!!

  • Re: Beosound Shape

Ok scrap my questions about adding another speaker or splitting the design as I just think these would be too compromised and I'd be forcing a solution. I will probably end up going for a sound bar type solution for the TV and I heard there is a new B&O soundbar to be launched soon so I'll keep an eye out for that (unless anyone knows more?) Anyway just wanted to post this to get feedback and advice on design and also if you feel it would be worth going for more speakers for the price
