I had totally forgotten this was on! Just saw that I’d won Fourth prize, the E8s - great news indeed! Many thanks Botty and all who support this at Beoworld.

No problem , glad to help. When the BL1000 arrives, you should be able to select the SCART input by simply pressing V.TAPE on the remote. If there are any further problems, come back to the forum!

  • Re: Beomaster 7000 Audio Output
The 7000/6500/5500 have a relais switching for headphone and speaker Output.
I could be wrong but I think that the mute relay only switches the speaker 1 (passive) speaker outputs. However, the signal that operates the relay is provided by the circuit that also applies power to Powerlink pin 4. Hence I would suspect the headphone socket, specifically the mechanical contact that supplies the trigger voltage to both the aforementioned relay and powerlink

  • Re: BeoLab 4: which pin connections on the PowerLink input?

Firstly the Beolab 4 does have an auto-switch-on function, but this operates via the 3.5mm 'line-in' input, but only when the LINE/PC switch is set to LINE. (If the switch is set to PC, the speakers will stay on all the time). However, if you experiment with the above (as I did) you will find that the speaker switches on/off at inappropriate times, such as in a small pause between music tracks. I found this very annoying in my set up. The Powerlink input has a different 'switch on'

Hi and welcome to the Forum! Without a remote I am afraid that the TV is unusable! At the very least, you need a remote to select one of the inputs at the back (plus obviously volume etc). I vaguely recall that on some of these older TVs a long press on the power (or STEP) button may start the tuning process, but I had a search and don't think this applies to the LX2802. (Also I doubt that Australia are transmitting any compatible analogue TV signals!) Some TVs of this era had an automatic trigger

  • Re: Benefits of CD over streaming
however I do miss the 'one button operation' of my Beosound 9000.... ie just press 'CD' on the Bed 4, as opposed to starting up the iPad, selecting the app, browsing through the seemingly infinite number of playlists, etc etc.
For 'one button' operation I still use my BC9500's tape player. The advantage over CD is that it doesn't have to be Track 1 that comes on when I press a single button (A.MEM) on the remote.

  • Re: Beosound 9000 Aux to RCA pin outs
I had a look. Wonder if the Datalink aux cable is it, near the end of the graphics, less the datalink pins ?
Yes that's it. Just ignore pins 6 and 7.

  • Re: Beo4 -One of a kind!!!

I would wear surgical gloves and a face mask to clean that one! On the plus side, the screen looks OK and the buttons will clean up well, possibly the front plate too!

  • Re: Replacing a B&O TV as a control point for multi-room audio system
In that case some of the linked (including the one that you would need) might not accept that command - because the built-in firmware is too old). Please read this thread for information on this: https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/3454/31256.aspx Whether the needed firmware chip will be available nowaday (in case it really is too old), I can’t say (maybe Guy knows).
Unfortunately I don't! I just did a quick search and this is all I have regarding
