  • Re: Beovision 6-26 connection to Sky box

Welcome to the forum! Setup is a little bit complicated for someone who is new to B&O. I can highly recommend having a look at the instruction manuals which are still available from B&O here: https://www.bang-olufsen.com/en/product-support/Television/beovision-6 Basically you need to use the connections screen to chose what is plugged in to the appropriate SCART, also remembering that the socket will then be selected by the appropriate button on the remote. You may find that the instructions

  • Re: B&O remote not working

Perhaps it is in A.OPT 0, where it will not respond to IR commands. To resolve this: Turn the BS9000 to standby/off. On the Beo4, press the POWER button and LIST together. Then press LIST until OPTION is shown, press GO (centre button), and then press LIST to show A.OPT. Then press 1. A power light on the BS9000 may blink to show that it has been accepted (or it may show a 1 on the display). The remote should then work.

  • Re: Boecentre 9000 how to connection to Beolab 4000

Unfortunately BC9000 doesn’t have Powerlink outputs. You probably need to use the Pre Amp outputs and a cable like this: https://soundsheavenly.com/powerlink-8-pin-din-connection/105-126-av-processor-pre-amp-sonos-to-beolab-using-the-powerlink-din-sockets.html#/2-length-1m but I am sure Steve from Sounds Heavenly (site sponsor) will be along to confirm or suggest another solution ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Re: Beovision MX7000 factory reset?

Hi and welcome to Beoworld! AFAIK there is no 'Factory Reset' on an MX7000. It is possible to access a Service Mode, but you need to tack the back off the TV, turn it on and then short-circuit a small Service Mode plug/connector P700 on PCB42. Only do this if you are happy working with the rear of a TV exposed as there are some very high (dangerous) voltages inside. If not happy, leave to a professional. You can adjust quite a few settings in Service Mode, but I don't think there is a

There are a number of geometric settings for the screen within the service mode that will sort out most alignment problems, but best left to an expert if not happy with opening up the TV yourself. There's a service manual available on this site if you upgrade to Silver membership - any repairperson may need that but the adjustment itself would then be quite straightforward. There may be other retro-gamers on the forum who are able to help. Have you tried a different input device (eg DVD player

  • Re: Beocom 6000 and Beoline

Hi and welcome to Beoworld! First have a read of this FAQ that explains compatibility between phones and PSTN bases: https://www.beoworld.org/faq_view.asp?id=74 If you are sure that the extra handset is compatible, then: - Perhaps the Beocom 6000 is faulty. Many of the Mk1 versions (with the separate A and V buttons) develop an RF chip fault which is not repairable, unless you replace the motherboard. - Perhaps the Beoline base has too many handsets already registered to it. You should be able to

  • Re: Aux input control with remote.

And if it's not under the LIST function, you can add it as follows: - Press Power and LIST together, the display should read ADD? - Press GO. - Press LIST until the display shows A.AUX. then GO. - A.AUX should then be listed under LIST.
