• Re: Beovision 10-46 and HDMI

The manual that MM linked to should be all the information that you need, and it includes a couple of screenshots of the relevant menus. Just go through slowly and carefully. Connect your hdmi leads to the TV's input sockets and note the number (AV1, 2, 3 etc) and then refer to the manual, and specifically the CONNECTIONS menu, to set up the corresponding connections.

Page 24 of this manual shows hdmi A B or C: https://bangolufsenassistentgohe.blob.core.windows.net/manuals/TELEVISIONS/BEOVISION_10/beovision10_gettingstarted_english.pdf Then in the CONNECTIONS menu choose AV2 (assuming nothing is connected to SCART socket AV2), call the source V.MEM, then scroll down to HDMI, and choose the corresponding input A B or C. Once stored, you should be able to select that hdmi input using V.MEM on the remote. (EDIT: Not all models have hdmi input C, so yours probably

  • Re: How to disconnect ML cable from junction box?

I would try the second option, but just remove the 2 cables on the left and then replace the top one. I think there's a special cable insertion tool that will make re-connection easier - perhaps you have one?

How about this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324530484953?hash=item4b8f8636d9:g:R24AAOSwMsVgVevK But seems a bit pricey - maybe make an offer? EDIT: Or this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164867997703?hash=item2662e60007:g:iUQAAOSwv7RgmV7c

  • Re: Apple TV 4k & Beovision 7-40

Great news - and thanks for letting us know that it worked! I have just been 'playing' with an ATV4 HD and a recently acquired BC6-26. I had similar blank screen problems, but after swapping lots of hdmi cables and connectors it suddenly worked. Trying to get old and new equipment working together can be a bit 'hit and miss', but it's very satisfying when it works! (EDIT: My resolution settings that worked for BC6 were 720p 50Hz RGB High)

  • Re: Strange Masterlink issue

But the aux socket on the BS3000 doesn’t have datalink. (Hence why the OP has been starting his Beogram manually). I doubt that PHONO will work for the same reason (it's been re-purposed), but it's worth a try!
Hmm according to the service manual it has
Page 1-3. Audio Aux Link: Pins 6-7 'not used'. It has been discussed before on the forum, but I too had forgotten until I wondered why he was starting the BG manually rather than using PHONO! EDIT: Found the earlier discussion here: https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/8532.aspx EDIT 2: Also more recently here (and makes reference to PHONO use): https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/46360.aspx
You need a rescaler. The BV7 can’t handle the output of the ATV.
So unlike the ATV4 HD, when using the 'MENU DOWN' function will the ATV4k not cycle through a resolution that is compatible with the BV7's accepted resolutions? Might there be other ATV4k video options (eg disabling HDR) that can be switched off or reset to get it to work? Given that the ATV was second hand, I think that I'd be testing it with a more modern non-B&O TV

  • Re: Apple TV 4/4K Siri remote and Beovision

I am revisiting this thread because Apple have now brought out a '2nd generation' Siri remote: https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MJFM3ZM/A/siri-remote My first generation (earlier version, no white circle) siri remotes are still working well to control the volume on my BV6s directly via 455kHz IR, but I wonder if this new version will work in the same manner. I suspect not, as the 455kHz IR capability seemed to have been removed from the later first generation 'white circle' remotes
