• Re: Beolab 18 with LG Panel- Centre Sound Channel
The new LG TVs are WISA capable, requiring a WISA dongle - B&O dealers will be able to provide both LG screen and dongle soon. Also the new LG models have an app that allows you to use a BeoRemote if you want However, with the WISA dongle you will need a separate centre channel (WISA capable as well).....and there is the issue. B&O don’t do a WISA capable centre channel. There’s supposed to be a sound bar coming, though no one knows the exact spec yet. Long

  • Re: Beovision Eclipse 65 cracking Noise

Of course this is not acceptable. Also it’s not really serious to repair consumers TVs in their homes. My Avant was repaired several times with new issues every time, new scratches and issues after aaaembly. Almost impossible to make it perfect in a customers home since there’s dust and all in all an uncontrolled environment and most probably also a curious and chatty owner or stressed worker without his workshop at hand. In a factory every screw is mounted with a specified amount of torque and is

  • Design longevity

Hello, I’ve been thinking for some time that B&O and their design has changed a lot throughout the years. From industrially cool and subtle to more feminine and playful. Sometimes better but also sometimes not. I love the Beolab 8000 for its simplicity and subtle yet elegant presentation of itself. It’s a classic - as so many other older Beo products are. But now, what is going to be classic in the future? Is the design qualities lost and replaced with temporary coolness? Or beauty? After watching

  • Re: The LG 2019 OLED gets WiSA-based wireless Dolby Atmos audio.

The whole point of threads is to have them so it’s easy to interact. This is a super long thread containing everything between heaven and earth. Many of the submitted messages in it is about annoyance and upset. I feel it’s just making people uncomfortable. I wish we could continue with new ones instead, I don’t know how to hide this one. It takes up space and stress when I constantly see it as one of the recently active ones always. Every day.

Why don’t you guys open new threads since this one went off topic long ago? It’s just in the way.

  • Re: LM1876TF - Reusing the MX4000 for a standalone Laptop speaker
First og all thank you to Beoworld for the membership. I've salvaged a MX4000 (type 9150) speakersystem and the corresponding stereo-PCB and want to make it work as a stand alone laptop speakersystem. I have some experience in the restoration of stereo amplifiers from the 70' and 80', but when is comes to Stereo IC like the LM1876, I lack some knowledge in making it Work. I've been doing some searching here on the site and found two articles that came

I carry my Beolit 15 out to my glasses balcony for music. Portable, Bluetooth and better sound than Beolab 2000. No need for cables either. But anyway, nice setup

  • Re: Nogen som skal til Struer i august?

I planned to go on the ninth for the english guide but realized to late that it begins early and that its a four hour drive from Copenhagen. I also dont drive so I would have to rely on trains. Is anyone here going from Copenhagen? I guess maybe I have to book a hotel and spend a night there close to Struer and solve it that way. I also plan to go to Budapest the same evening (the ninth) :D. Stress.. In case I cant solve it, maybe someone here wants my ticket instead.

  • Re: Introduction BeoVision Harmony
Interesting the price point is 10% below one big store. So the question is: Where would you want the warranty for the OLED to be issued?
It’s also without stand, remote and speakers. The warranty should come from B&O if you buy the TV from them. I remember B&O saying that a screen could also be bought separately but that’s another story.
