  • Re: Beolink 7000

Thanks a lot for your input. They are both there, and seems to move freely. Will try the compressed air - or alternatively, the hard route of dismantling.

Old thread, but same question. I got myself a Beolink 7000, and I´ve just renewed the battery and have capacitors on their way to solve the 2-way communication issues. When I press "panel" and "move" it raises as it should, and it goes back when it´s put back in the charger. But I was wondering too; when it´s set to "auto", shouldn´t it move by itself? If it sits on the table, and I touch the metal, it wakes up fine - but it doesn´t lift

  • Re: Beolink 7000 back light and recapping.

Never mind; I did find the correct parts at Conrad. When (at Conrad) going to the shopping basket, the partnumbers listed on page one can be entered and added directly; that worked.

A rather old, but yet very useful thread! However, the links for Conrad doesn´t work anymore and searching for the components brings up to many choices. Can someone with more knowledge than me put a "shopping list" together at Conrad for re-capping a Beolink 7000?

  • Re: Question about Beolink 7000

Thanks a lot. Well, mine IS complete then. Just thought the underside of the power supply looked a bit odd, but it´s identical to the one in the link. Seems like a bargain; Beolink 7000, desk charger and the floor charger for around €140. Beolink looks like new and works, just needs a new battery (on its way from Beovienna).

  • Re: Beogram 7000 - wrong stylus weight?

Cheers. I´ve ordered a stylus weight, however things from China take quite some time to arrive these days :)

  • Re: Beogram 7000 - wrong stylus weight?

The BG7000 is connected to a Beomaster 7000 - the BG5005 to a Beomaster 5000. I am aware of the differences on the RIAA part, thanks ;) I didn´t swap out the BG´s, I swapped the stylus, and the issue remains. It seems like the tonearm weight doesn´t work correct on the BG7000. The MMC1/2 works great on the BG5005 at 1.2g., where it needs maximum weight on the BG7000 to sound okay-ish.

Anybody? Can the weight inside the tone arm come loose? I´ve ordered a stylus weight to get clarification.

  • Beogram 7000 - wrong stylus weight?

I finally got hold of a Beogram 7000 for my Beosystem 7000. It was advertised as being without a stylus, so I was happy to find a MMC2 inside it, when I picked it up. The chap simply didn´t know what he was selling. Well, after a good clean I fired it up, and it works great. However, the sound was disorted, so I swapped stylus with my Beogram 5005 which has a MMC1 playing at 1.2 gram. Sound was still disorted! When I cleaned the Beogram 7000 I noticed, that the stylus weight was set to maximum

  • Re: Defekte Beolab 4000 (Led "flimrer"..).

"Foam rot" betyder som regel, at kantophænget rundt om bas- og mellemtoneenheder går i opløsning. Det hjælper således ikke bare at fjerne det gamle; det skal erstattes af noget nyt.
