Okay and how do i check the trimmer? I can check the board by unscrewing the 3 Screws below the turntable-plate, right?

Thank you very much for the good instructions! so just cartridge and counterweight off, cueing arm stays on? I think at first i will try to cealn the contacts and if this doesnt help i will open the turntable. Should be able to clean them from above, right? Then i will also have a look which circuit board i have! Thank you very much, Dillen!

  • Beogram 1600 45rpm

Hello Beoworld. I come to you with a rather weird problem with my beogram 1600. First of all i want to thank everyone who helped me with my problems before, the turntable has a new belt now and runs the perfect speed. I now registered a new problem: when playing on 45rpm the turntable sometimes starts to "lose" speed, accelerates again and loses speed again, like an ongoing loop, sometimes even going down to like 1 rpm. Any source of problem you could think of? Thank you in advance and

Okay, so i will try to go through each possibility... I already replaced the belt with one of yours, Dillen, so this should be fine :) Just for your information: on 33rpm everything works just perfectly! So things like the bearinga should affect both speeds, shouldnt it?

Hello! Yes, i want to change the belt as well! But how do i get inside the turntable? Just lift the platter or is there anything i need to "unlock"? I also added some pictures of the turntable. 1 2 Kindest regards Philipp

Ok, i tried but somehow it is stuck... I am a bit afraid to damage anything to be honest...the platter on my Beogram 4500 lifted quite easily

  • Re: Beogram 1600 speed problem

Ok, yea it feels like its glued but since i know the pre-owner i highly doubt this...any advice on „controlled force“? :D Good observation skills! I built the handle myself using a very thin and light piece of metal, just so it ist easier to lift the tonearm while the record is playing. It weighs exactly 0.242g so i adjusted the weight on the tonearm. Works pretty good. Tonearm works perfectly as well. I will send you a message regarding the tonearm! Thank you all for your help!

So after working that thing i finally got it off! It was indeed somehow stuck/glued together with i don't know what... I checked the service manual from the Beogram 1102, so i think the adjustment should be like this? (seen in the image attached) Fine adjustments
