Hello Carlo, Okay thanks so much for this, I'll open it up and see if it is a connection issue. All the best Ronnie

  • Beolab 6000 intermittently muffled

Hello there, Been a while since I have posted on the forum, have been having a little issue with my Beolab 6000s.On one of them the sound keeps getting muffled and then coming back to normal. I've tried another tweeter from another set I had but that hasn't rectified the issue, tried different sources and cables but no difference. Is this something any one has experienced? I'm assuming its something related to the amp. Many Thanks in advance

  • Re-Covering the material on beolab 8000 frets

Hello there, i have a pair of beolab 8000s that need new material on the frets, i've heard that they aren't the same as the material used on the 6000s and other beolabs, so could anyone point me in the right direction of some suitable material to recover them. Would be much appreciated
Ever saw this thread ?
Yes, as thats the method i've used on my 6000s (will be putting pics up soon once i've finished the decorating), but I heard that the 8000s require a different type of material.
Yes I mean the 12-2's. I think you can install them up or down. When I auditioned them I loved the sound. I would have got them over the BL3s but there was no stand for them and I don't want to hard install them on the wall (at this stage) Congrats on a great setup. Cheers Mh
They have stands now or at least they are on their way:

  • Re: Problem with Form 2
Mainly yes
Ok I get the same problem all the time, what has happened is a hair has fallen between the small gaps on the earpiece so it rattles around every time the driver vibrates therefore making the buzzing noise. all you need to do is see if you can see any hairs sticking out of the gaps, if not, remove the foam pad and see if you can find it. Or if you have fairly long hair that when you put them on covers part of the headphones then you need to

Is the buzzing sound only happening when the bass notes are played?
