    I liked the design and concept of the Beosound Moment. Combining local music and streaming music content in one device with an enjoyable and easy userexperience. Unfortunately Bang&Olufsen never managed to get it working fluently. Like so often B&O gave up and focused on new products, leaving customers back with an technical immature product. When you are looking for software that does a really good job combining local and streaming content flawlessness and enjoyable l strongly suggest Roon

    I started Bang&Olufsen with a Beosound 3000 in 2000, after dreaming of a Beocenter 2500 for several years. Adding more and more Masterlink products over time until I had in every room at least one Masterlink product. In 2016 I changed to NetLink with a Beosound Moment and some Beosound 35s. After several disappointments with these new B&O multiroom system I moved on to Sonos as my current multiroom „back-bone“. Since a view months I experience Roon and I really enjoy it.

    Unfortunately B&O tradition / culture is to hide information / detailed description of features available from their customers. I never understood why Bang&Olufsen is doing it. I could imagine the following reasons: B&O thinks that they have very technical limited customers and they do not want to confuse them with too many technical information B&O want to foster their dealers, so that they are able to impress their customers B&O wants to save the money by not publishing PDF

    @Alsfeld Well summarized, the challenge is the audio content. No access to audio content no need for Beolink Multiroom.

[/quote] Yes, B&O is in a commercial crisis, BUT the main reason are their unbelievable many product / software quality issues. Today customers just move on to another brand, when they do not get the user experience they expect for their money

    Alternatively, you can use a Flirc USB (a small universal infrared-receiver USB dongle) on the Xbox One. Then you can select any device from the PUC list of the Beovision 9 and teach it to the Flirc accordingly. Might be a little cheaper and more flexible than having a B&O technician come to update the PUC list.
