  • Re: Anyone recognise this B&O rarity?

That one looks really fine. Can't see a scratch from here It has four adjustable switches, and they are square and looks to be of some shiny metal. I have seen another Hyperbo 5 RG Steel which had black adjustable switches. Also four. I guess they used different switches over time in the production of these RadioGrams. I have attached a photo to my reply here. It shows a model that is different from yours and the one I refered to above. It has five white switches and it has a metal pipe "leg"

  • Re: Differences between Avant 1996 and 1997 models?

The VTR NIC DS-version has some extra text on the label about Dolby Laboratories Licensing Corporation. So it is the sound company. DS could stand for Dolby Surround. But it is then Dolby Pro-Logic Surround.

My guess is that any serious dealer of Bang & Olufsen has them in stock. Perhaps plenty of them by now.

  • Re: TV-cabinet connector questions

Hi I have been searching a little and here is what I found out: The wooden cabinet is for a Beovision 1800 television. The radio unit is a Beomaster 900. The drawer between the speakers is meant for a Beogram 1000. I have included a picture of the sockets on the Beomaster 900. The top two sockets look to be for speakers. There I guess you can use 2-pin speaker cables eventhough there is a third hole in the socket. Perhaps someone with experience explain the socket types. Don't know how you can

  • 5-Drawer Cabinet

Hi Out of interest I am looking for information about the cabinet in the picture I have included. A type number and an item number It looks like it has five drawers. It is in the red colour used from 2000-2003 in: - BeoLab 1 - BeoLab 4000 - BeoLab 6000 - BeoVision 10-40 (cover). This BV10 was made from 2009-2012. That is 6 years after the other products stopped to be made in the red colour. - more? I have not found any information about the cabinet in the service manuals for the above mentioned products

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 mk3 service manual english file corrupted?

This can sometimes happen for me too with PDF files. You can try to repair the file. I use this service: https://www.pdf2go.com/repair-pdf After that process the PDF should work.

  • Re: BeoVision Avant 55, speakers won´t go back in

You could try a reset of the TV. With the BeoRemote One in your hands. 1. Press the little "House button". The menu button. 2. Go one step down to Setup. 3. Now press Red > Red > Go. You enter the service menu. 4. Go to Settings 5. At the bottom of this menu an option to Reset to default. 6. The TV should now have reset and shows the list of languages to choose from. At this point you turn off the TV. The speakers should retract in and up. You might need to do the reset process twice

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 MK6 Service Manual

I have it. Found it on the web some time ago. Don't remember where. I tried adding the file to this post, but I guess the file size is too large. 40.672 kB. Perhaps an admin could help and let me upload it or send it somewhere.

  • Re: Beolab Penta MK3 6631 Service Manual / AMP & Crossover schematics

Hi I also only have the 8 page service manual for 6631(MK3). So I can't help with supplying you there. I checked the service manuals for MK1 and MK2. From what I can tell the Crossover Network for those two look exactly the same. I don't know, but perhaps there is no difference from MK1-2 to MK3. I hope someone can verify that.
