  • distortion on 180 Gram vinyls

Hello guys, I have since a few month a beogram 7000 connected to my beomaster 5 via an USB converter. It works damned good but I have a problem with 180 Gram Vinyls, just like if it was too heavy for the beogram. Any ideas on what it could be ? Regards Eric

  • beogram 7000 lifting up the plate

Hi guys, I just receive my beogram 7000, but it sems the plate is too low in reference too the chassis. when the arm arrives in the middle of the record, I have a griny sounf like if the metallic plate was scratching against the chassis. I have red a post with the same problem on a beogram 6500, but it seems it is not the same way to solve the problem. there is certainly a way to rise up the plate, but could not find it thanks for your help Eric

  • Beolink 7000 and day to day use.

Hello guys, I am currently upgrading my setup. Swap my Encore for a beosound 5, add a beolab 3500 in the kitchen, and i will receive a white beogram 7000 in the next few days. I always loved the beolink 7000, but I was wondering if it was convenient to use as a day to day remote. I never had the opportunity to play with one. I will have to control a beovision 7-40' a oppo bluray via PUC, the beosound 5, the beogram and the link beolab 3500. Thanks for your experience return, Eric

I will connect the beogram 7000 directly to the beomaster 5 using one of the USB connection via a Phono/Aux Input Adapter for BeoMaster 5 that we found at sounds Heavenly. My dealer told me it works fine, no need of a beomaster anymore. The beogram will be delivered next week, and the beomaster within 2 weeks. Thanks for you comments on the BL7000.

Cordialement Eric

  • beocenter 7700 cosmetic repairs

Hi, I just picked up a beocenter 7700 this week-end. It works good, sing like a charm, but needs some cosmetic repairs. Ideally, it would need 2 new covers (aluminium is heavily scratched, and the automatic door opening system upon the tape reader is broken (upper right corner on the picture). Same with the plastic part where all the instruction are written, it is broken at the tape level. Any ideas where I could find spare, or tips to at the minimum repai the automatic door opening system ? Thanks

Hi Søren Thanks for your kind proposition, I would be glad to receive some parts to make this lovely system appears good again. I think both are quite identical except the turnable cover. I will check the parts I need and send you a PM. Eric

  • Re: Humming in beolab 3

Thanks, Effectively, the volume control on the Encore makes the sound crispy, but event without turning on the Encore, just the BV7 and the BM7000, I have this humming sound. The BV 7 is connected to the beomaster 7000 via a beolink converter in the AUX entry The Encore is connected to the BM7000 via tape 1 When I want to use the Encore, I select AV-AMEM on the beo4 to turn on BV7 and BM7000 tape 1' and LINK-CD or LINK-RADIO, to turn on the Encore. Would it be possible to connect the Encore directly
