  • Penta confusion!

Hi everyone! I recently acquired a pair of Beolab penta 1’s and have been using them with my beocenter 9500 and they’ve been wonderful! However I’m curious to know, if I connect a normal non b&o amplifier to the spring terminals on the bottom of the speaker, is the internal speaker amplifier still being used? The speaker still must me connected and the switch set to auto to make them work, is this only so the speaker knows to flip a relay on when it detects a signal? If I connect

  • Re: Beocenter 9550 Speaker switching

Thanks for the help! I just purchased a MCL2 Xtra passive speaker kit, I’ll install it soon. I’m sure it’ll be better a million times better than the janky IR repeater I’m using too!

  • Beocenter 9550 Speaker switching

Hi everyone! I recently acquired a beocenter 9500 and I have it hooked up to two speaker sets, one pair of RL's upstairs and one pair of RL's next to the beocenter in the basement. However i don't always want the speaker set upstairs (speakers 2) on all the time. Is there a way of switching them off while keeping speakers 1 on? As my previous beomaster 3300 all I had to do was flip the switch for speakers 2. I know I can just plug the upstairs speakers into the speaker 1 sockets, and

  • Connecting Pentas to Beomaster 3300

Hi everyone, I have a quick question, soon I will be inheriting a barely used complete Beosystem 3300 from a family member which has a set of RL60.2's. However as wonderful as the Rl's are, I would love to find and connect a set of Pentas to the system, and use the RL's somewhere else. I know the beomaster 3300 does not have powerlink sockets, however I have yet to find a complete answer as to how I should go about connecting them to the regular 2 pin DIN sockets. Would just using a regular

  • Beocom 1401 wide wall holder

Hey beolovers! I have a question, I have a beocom 1401 wall model, but only with the basic holder, I would like to mount it on the wall but I’m not a fan of having the line cord dangle to the holder. Does anyone have the “wide” wall holder that is meant to cover a wall phone jack they would be willing to sell? Thanks!
