  • Odd behavior of my Remote One

Hi, I have had my Avant 55 and Remote one for almost 2 years, it has worked perfect until recently, when I changed the batteries. The remote seem to restart it self, it stops working, the display goes black and then the text Bang Olufsen appears. This can happen 3-5 times within one minute, then it works as shall for a while (days). Has anyone had the same issue? What was the fix for it? //Rikard

I think you were right, it must have been something with the power, the same display appears when it is put together. I removed all pieces, there is only one way to mount the battery holder together, but I also cleaned the connectors. Now it seems to works as i shall - flawless :)

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!

We got a new house 3 years ago, the BV10 did not follow, so we got a non B&O setup, was never satisfied with how it looked, how it worked, and I got brainfreez from having 3-4 remotes on the livingroom table. So I finally got a new setup, Avant 55, BL8000 as fronts and BL6000 as rears. I have a DALI sub that Im thinking of setting up aswell. Strange the picture is perfect condition on my computer, but not here.. The PS4 is set behind the TV, ATV4K is inside the tv.

The same problem came back.. Now we have changed the ML module, the repairguy did it while the tv was on the wall. Now it works, we will see for how long time :) He also said that it can be the ML Cable, so we checked it aswell - no problem with thatone.

It was the dealer who said that it might be the BS5. Today I had a talk to another person at my dealer. He was under the impression that it could be the Mastercontrol unit in the BV10 that was faulty. So in the beginning of december the service guy will come and change the part so we can start litening to music again..

  • Some problems - BS5 & BV10-46

Hi all, It has been a long time since I visited this nice place :) I have some problems and I thought that the best place to find answer must be here. I have a Beosound 5 connected to a BV10-46. All speakers connected to BV and BS5 is connected to BV10. The last months the BS5 has stopped to communicate with the tv. When I press CD/ radio nothing happens. If I start the BS5 on the panel it starts but does not start the system, speakers etc. If I restart the Beosound5 it usually works again, but not

  • Re: Spotify is comming......

I just updated my BS5, ok, I must admit Spotify is a good feature for backbround listening. I like it and my Mrs she was amazed that our "oldfasioned" BS5 has Spotify :) It ads to it in a good way - still Im not a fan of this service. I like "my" music :)
