• Re: Beoplay A1 Repair

problem is probably air leak…. try to close all holes with a piece of duct tape or put some silicon in the screw holes. If you play music with some bass you can try to find the leak with your finger nico

  • Re: Opportunity to talk directly with Bang & Olufsen...

Filled in the survey. NL is also the backbone of my system. Also integrated with home automation via gateway. Works fine and easy to use. Our house is open with speakers in every room so “join”’is just a must to make it easy to use :-) Nico

  • Re: Beolink Multiroom software overhaul

. Symptom: After the daily scheduled restart (not controllable by the end user), the Core can no longer join a Beolink multiroom, or be joined by other products. A manual restart clears the issue until the next daily scheduled restart Hi I have the same issues at random times.. i have an Eclipse, BS35, 4 cores and it happens that one of the devices is not able to join the multiroom.. it plays on itself but no way to connect it to others in the network. The only way to solve is to reboot it... I already

  • Re: Multiroom "conflict"

If all your devices are on WIFI it is best all of them are on the same type of network. So, all 2.4Ghz or all 5GHZ. Normally you can create 2 separate network names for each type of network in your access point, so you're sure they all connect to the right (same) type of network. B&O says this also in their setup menu. 5GHZ is the better network but is has a shorter range .... The best connection is of course wired ...(less latency). To test the latency you test it with a "ping"

  • Re: Beosound Balance
P.S. I wonder why no one reacted to my comment/question about the need for the (hardware) remote, BeoRemote One in the future......when there will be no NL and no Bang & Olufsen app controlling of the devices anymore. Isn’t anyone using the BeoRemote with their audio devices??? MM There is a tv - and there is a BV.
I use the remote all the time. The remote makes everything easy in my setup. The 4 mybuttons are very handy for every one in the house

Nico

  • Re: RIP BeoLink Multiroom (1982-2020)

do not forget there are a lot of people using B&O who are not technical. They will just use the basic B&O app for multiroom. They are not on this forum, so the 20/80 is just for the more technical people on this forum, not for all the B&O users. It is very difficult to explain to non tech people the differences between AP2/ casting, spotify connect, tune-in etc... Things should be more simple to use not more difficult. ALso there is a big difference in the number of devices you have.

  • Re: RIP BeoLink Multiroom (1982-2020)

With airplay your streaming device needs always to be connected to wifi... when you leave the house for a sec, the music just stops ... this is unusable for me... i have BO stuff in almost every room. In every room is also a beoremote which makes it very easy to join the other rooms... i do this also with my Domintell home automation system via the gateway, this works prefect. I really do not their decision to drop their miltiroom in the future...
