  • Re: Apple TV shows but doesn't tell

[quote user="beoaus"] Actually, I have an additional and seperate fix for this DVI and sound issue which may be interesting for some. It's less complex than it sounds, reliable and feature rich for those willing to try. I connected an XBOX One S to the BV7 via an HDMI to DVI cable and a toslink to coaxial converter. Therefore the XBOX serves as my converter, video engine and smart Tapps TV engine. The XBOX also has an HDMI input to which I have connected a simple manual HDMI switcher

Ah. So you're trying to convert the digital audio to analogue audio? Which version of Apple TV do you have? You might do better with the version that had the separate audio port before Apple did away with it. If you're trying to extract and convert the digital audio to analogue, I would only recommend an HDFury solution. They're expensive, but the cheaper solutions rarely work. There could be an EDID issue. That is, the detection of what is compatible on the other end of the HDMI. The

Thanks for the response. That's great to hear that new systems will still be added to the BLGW. Many of us already have the BLGW. Without support for ML, I just can't upgrade to BLI, unfortunately. There are SO many ML products out there and I would suspect that while we've added new NL products, many of us who have been B&O customers for years will still have at least one or more ML products. For example, I have a BeoVision 10 integrated with a BeoSound Moment that connects to my

What comes to mind is that time on Happy Days when Fonzie jumped the shark.

[quote user="Sandyb"] The B&O sound bar is supposed to be fairly limited in its scope - look at the price Roger posted earlier - and from my understanding, a simple stereo only product, not designed to be integrated into a broader B&O ecosystem (it won't see your other BL speakers). The equivalent of a Beosystem 5 / Centre channel (i.e. a much more fully rounded product) - in the works, but not until end of year / early next. Depending on its execution, that later product should

I'm glad to see you here on BeoWorld in the home automation forum. Many of us still have BLGW. It sounds like there are still huge disadvantages to upgrading to BLI if we have any ML products in the mix. 1. Have you come up with a good solution for ML devices such as having a driver for the BLI to interface with the BLGW? 2. Will you still offer new systems in the BLGW systems list? Are the drivers really that much different between BLI and BLGW? 3. While creating a macro in BLGW, I saw the option

  • Re: What is going on with B&O’s current TV lineup?

To put things in perspective, I just purchased a 75" Samsung tv for 1/15 the price of a 65" Eclipse. No, it doesn't have the premium speaker of the eclipse, but I already have a wall-mounted Beolab 10. I'm not going to use the poor and fleeting selection of apps on a tv. Rather, I use an Apple TV for those. Currently, only a BD or UHD player will take full advantage of my beolab speakers. Nowadays, TVs are so slim and discreet that design does to play much of a factor. It's
