• Re: Beosystem 4 question
Well i’m Having no luck in getting a LG PUC - and it’s a bit irrelevant anyhow as I’m controlling via hDMI CEC. I’m having some overscan on the TV, but can’t find the service manual for the Beosystem 4 to find the service menu to make changes. Any idea?
I don't have the service manual, but I do have some more technical manuals regarding the BeoSystem 4 with information about the pinouts that someone as technically inclined as

I have one with a rather tight wheel. Were you able to make yours turn more smoothly and how?
I need to get a hold of some magnets in order to reassemble the bearing. Will update on it when I get around to it. That gunk is cause by me. I filled it with weapon oil before opening it. I was hoping it would lube the bearing. But I suspect that the deal on the bearing is not good enough, causing the grease in the bearing to dry out and harden.
I'm glad you told me that. For a moment, I had considered using WD-40, but I had a feeling it wouldn't

  • Re: BLC Source Center Question

You can only set the BLC as source center if the connected audio master is recent enough to support N.Music and N.Radio. For example, the BeoCenter 2 or BeoSound 9000 mk3. You will need to change the setting of your BeoSystem 3 to option 6. Then, you can set the BLC as V.Master. You then use video source commands for mapping the NL sources. For example, you can use a simple TV command (mapped for example to Deezer) for a BeoLab 3500. However the command that you use to get the same Deezer source

  • Re: Beolab 2500 Running Passive B&O Speakers?

There actually was a BeoSound 2300. What was sold in Europe as the BeoCenter 2300 was sold in the U.S. as the BeoSound 2300. I have one.
Well, ok, thanks for that information. Makes me wonder why the h**k they choose a different name for the US market? MM
There have been some other differences in product names in the US. market as well. We don't call the BeoSound 2000 the "Century" or the BeoSound

  • Re: Beosystem 4 question

I actually just purchased a 75" 4K Samsung TV to be installed Monday. I used the trusty method of compatibility that I've used for years: I took the remote for the old Samsung TV (of which I know that the BeoSystem 4 PUC can control) to the store and made sure that the remote would turn the TV on/off. I bought the Sony UBP-X700 UHD player and have BeoCare working on getting me the PUC. This player has dual HDMI outputs so that I can send the video directly to a TV input and the audio to

they'll eventually just honor the warranty and have you mail them the hardware and they'll replace the hardware
Unfortunately, warranty expired. The device was purchased in 2013.
The 10-year warranty began 6/1/13. Mine was just slightly before 6/1 and they agreed to still provide the 10-year warranty. If you build a good relationship with someone that you're working with at Atlona, they do make exceptions

  • Re: Has the Beosound 35 been discontinued?

I ordered one of the last today. My dealer said that there are now less than 20 in the natural aluminum. More are available in the brass.

They do take their customer service VERY seriously.
Well, you have been lucky. The final answer I got from them after they have not been able to solve the issue is: It’s a B&O problem No, it’s not since the problem appeared when they recommended to update from the initial to the latest firmware. Clearly the update is defective, but they don’t want to admit it
After spending enough time on the
