• Re: What is the best small/mid size B&O speaker

The 4000s will probably suit your needs perfectly, especially at that price. Just be aware of the foam rot issue which damages the internal components.

  • Re: How do I get sound from my LG TV to my Beosystem 3
That's weird Stoobie. Let me know if you think I can help you with photographs of any menu setting. Happy to change the menu language into English , and send photographs of connections when you are in doubt. We MUST get this to work! Johan
Hi Johan, sorry for the long delay in responding. Last weekend I decided to really get stuck in to this problem. My TV is wall mounted, so very difficult to get access to the connections. I eventually connected from the

Excellent news. I'm still experimenting with mine connected to my LG OLED 65. Trying to distribute sound around my Masterlink system. Stoobie

  • Re: Eclipse Stand

I don't know if this helps but it talks about having to re-calibrate the stand after moving the TV (Moving = unplugging I assume) Link Stoobie

  • Re: Eclipse Stand

With the older TVs there was something about having to plug the stand in either before or after powering on the TV. I had the issue with an MX 8000 and I'm almost sure you had to plug the stand in after powering up the TV for the stand to be recognised.. So long ago I can't remember. Stoobie

  • Re: Beocom6000 login to a base station

I had a problem where one of my MK1 handset became very unrelaible and then became disconnected from the base, It took me about 2 weeks trying to deregister and reconnect (I was trying when I had time) but with no luck. I put in a new battery and the phone was reconnected automatically as if nothing had changed. it was like magic. Stoobie

  • Re: Newbie question - BeoSound 9000 MK2
Get a dedicated ML speaker, BL 2000 or BL 3500.
Good shout Daniel. Both of those give local control too (and no need for an eye as they have it built in) ! I have a BL3500 and 3 BL2000's. I run the BL2000's with Beolink Wireless One's and use them out in the garden during the summer as all I need to do is plug them into a power socket. Pics here Stoobie

  • Re: Newbie question - BeoSound 9000 MK2

Matador - At the very least, I think you will need an eye attached to set the Beolink Passive to the correct "Option" for your setup. When I had my old Beovision 5, I ran a pair of Beovox Pentas from a Beolink Passive. I'm almost 100% sure I had to plug an eye in to set the option and after that I removed it and the volume was controlled at the same time with the TV speakers via the TV eye. Kirby - If you want local control then you will need the eye whether you go down the Active or

Hi Matador, That photo is the one I am currently using on my BS3. It shows the wiring too. Stoobie

  • Re: Beovox Penta with Beolink passive

So, I think I got a bit ahead of myself there. My Beosystem 4500 has Powerlink Sockets so I assumed that your Beosystem 5500 had Powerlink sockets too (I see from the manual it doesn’t). With the Beolink Convertor you would have plugged ALL your speakers into the BS5500, and connected to the Beocenter 2. Then when the Options on each are set correctly you will be able to control the volume as one and listen to the BS5500 or the Beocenter 2 through the speakers and control the sound all in 1
