  • Re: Quick fix for non-working Beolink 1000

Hi SJF, I'm sorry I can't be any more help. I haven't had a Beolink 1000 for about 15 years. This link may help. https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/35335/262210.aspx Try the suggestions in there re cleaning the terminals and then do the "shorting" of the terminals again. Are you using good fresh batteries? As far as controlling the 9500 goes, it should work without Powerlink speakers connected but that alone doesn't prove the remote needs repair / replacement. The lack

  • Re: Beosound 9000 plastic colour

I could just be the way it was photographed! If you Google Beosound 9000 and then look at images that panel can look different colours. It is usually black/grey. This website seems to suffer from that strange hue. It looks standard system but strange colour. https://www.ynvision.design/product-page/beosound-9000-mk2 This shows another one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bang-Olufsen-B-O-BeoSound-9000-CD-Player-FM-Tuner-Mk2-Beautiful-/192991824948 Stoobie

  • Re: Beo 6 configuration help

Your local dealer should have access to the latest configuration tool for the Beo 6. It will work on Windows 10 and work with the Beo 6. Are they official B&O dealers? Because unless they are, they will struggle to get the correct configuration tool. Stoobie

  • Re: Using the LIGHT button on your Beo4

Just seen this on the HomeEasy website which may explain the problems you have had. Smartwares who own HomeEasy are going through a re-branding exercise and are in the process of changing all HomeEasy “HE” codes to Smartwares “SH5” codes. During the past 12 months there have also been upgrades to the HE range, and unfortunately this has meant that some, but not all newer products (version 2) will not work with older versions (Version 1). To complicate things further, some

[quote user="matador43"] I have had the same sort of problem: I bought a BEO IR to RF translator to a fellow guy named Revox Beo. That box works with Intertechno plugs which are not easy to find here in France and costs around 40€ for 3 plugs. Close to me a warehouse shop sells a set of 4 plugs for 25€: same shape, same electronics same "all". Just the RF code or frequencies or whatever it is not the same. I understand the industrial logic but its quite enraging when

Looking at those links, the HE830W look like they may be the newer range. All mine are HE3***. It also works with the old 1 and 2 gang light switch and replacement wall socket. LightWaveRF are definitely not compatible. I wrote to them about the LightManager and their range, when they first came out and they were very dismissive. JBMedia were very keen to collaborate, but LightWave not interested, so because of that I returned mine for a full refund.

  • Re: Chromcast audio connected to beolink passive?

If the Beolink Passive route is not possible perhaps something like this will suit. It can seemingly power any passive speakers so should work with your BeoVox 5000s https://magpi.raspberrypi.org/articles/beocreate-4-channel-amplifier-review Stoobie

Hi Ben, Some of the BeoCenter 2s were audio only. Have you tried a CD in it? Stoobie

Go to the users and service guides downloads. Then accessories. It is then in the dropdown towards the bottom. Stoobie
