  • Re: Product Config Guide

Go to the users and service guides downloads. Then accessories. It is then in the dropdown towards the bottom. Stoobie

  • Re: Avant 32 scart2hdmi

I use one of these in my Beocenter 1. I have my FireTV connected to it and it works really well. Just make sure you get the HDMI in and AV out. Stoobie

  • Is a BeoCenter 1 in link room with Wireless 1 possible

I currently have a Beocenter 1 in my living room running 2 pairs of Beolab 3's on Powerlink and Masterlink to Beolab 15/16s in my dining room, a Masterlinked a Beolab 3500 in the kitchen. I also have Beolab 12's on Wireless 1s in my sun room and 2 Beolab 2000's with Wireless 1s that I take into the garden. I have 2 spare Wireless 1s. I am a about to replace the Beocenter 1 with a Beosystem 3 and would like to use the Beocenter 1 upstairs in my bedroom. I'd want to use the speakers

  • Re: Beovision 5 needs a new Panel (LCD, 4K)

Yes, you actually "teach" the FLIRC by plugging into PC/laptop and pointing the remote you want to learn at it. In the case of the PUC, you aim the emitter at it and teach it the buttons from the Beo4. Then plug it into your Raspberry Pi. If you have the correct software on the Raspberry Pi you can plug the FLIRC in an learn the codes via that without the PC step. I'm currently using one on my Amazon FireTV. Stoobie

  • Re: Beovision 5 needs a new Panel (LCD, 4K)

If you use a Raspberry Pi as a media centre and get a FLIRC dongle you will be able to control it via Beo4 and the PUC on the BV5. I used to do this on my BV5 and used the Apple PUC that was in my TV. The FLIRC is a IR reciever. You can teach it any of the choices in the BV5 PUC list. Stoobie

  • Re: B&O Customer Support Not Sure - Where Do I Go Now?

I'm using this setup to connect my FireTV to my Beocenter1 (Non HDCP compliant I assume) It only has scart connections and have no issues at all.

  • Re: beovision 7 and virgin v6 box

Hi, I'm not familiar with the settings on the BV7 but the scart need to be set up in the TV connections menu. The scart are accessed via the buttons assigned, Ie V.MEM, DVD, DTV etc. On mine I have scart 1 set as STB in the connections menu and the DTV button turns to the input of my Freeview recorder. Scart 2 is set up with my HDMI2AV and that is set to V.AUX in the connections menu and I had to add V.AUX to the list button. So when I press LIST, V.AUX, GO it turns to that input. Hope that helps

  • Re: beovision 7 and virgin v6 box

Well, now you know scart 2 works as DVD 2 leave that as is for now but experiment more with scart 1. You can always reconnect to scart 2 until you get the other working. I have the connection in my menu as STB and that works using my DTV button. It won't make too much difference what version of STB you choose as that is only to activate the IR controller which you don't seem to be using. What connection options do you get for scart 1 (AV1)?

Haha, we were busy typing at the same time. So glad you got it working! Do you have any other Digital tuner connected to watch TV, because if not you should be able to set the connections to scart 1, connect you Virgin box and use the DTV button so you don't need to use the LIST DVD2. You could then use the LIST V.AUX for your Apple TV.
