Hi, the T-Con is separate from the LCD Panel 6 screws, not a problem to replace but finding one is, usually from a 10-46 with faulty chassis! BV 10-46 MK1 has a diffrent Panel Type as that from a MK2 this means a different T-Con, I have a BV10-46 MK1 with faulty T-Con but I only managed to buy a T-Con from ebay for a MK2 BV10-46 MK2 has 3 HDMI connections BV10-40 T-Cons can also use T-Cons salvaged from BV 7-40s Regards Douglas Cunningham

Just a note to say that I bought this on ebay for 240.- euros complete with motorstand & Beo4 Mk4 with Apple TV on DVI I am a very happy person!

Hello Beoworlders, can anyone explain to me how I can remove the back panel of a BV5 so I can get to the other side of the Chassis?. The front is easy but Im having no luck on how to start with the back! Any help would be most appreciated Douglas

So further to my reply I would become a silver member of BeoWorld and then download the service manual for the BV10, Undo the screws of the screen, take it off, undo screws of cover at bottom of TV on a dining room table GOOD HEIGHT TO SEE then Release the ic pin power cable to the main board, plug in without DVB board connected then check Menus Remove power, plug in board connection again and check if the Mainboard now can see the DVB board Can be Bad main connection to main PCB
