• Re: Playmaker vs Apple airport express

Goet, -F

  • BV10 optimal MIDI setting for Mac mini stereo via HDMI connection

Hi all, I have a Mac mini connected to my Beovision 10. Can you tell me what the optimal MIDI settings are on the Mac mini to play stereo music via HDMI to the BV10? I now use 96000-Hz 6-channel 24-bits. This is the "maximum" configuration at the Mac mini I think, but I do not know if this is optimal for the BV10. Thanks, F.

  • Re: BV10 optimal MIDI setting for Mac mini stereo via HDMI connection

Normally I also have this caution. But I yesterday upgraded to iTunes 11, and suddenly iTunes played music to all channels. The previous situation was such that if I played music via iTunes the sound would come only from the BL9's, although the BV10 was in speaker mode 3. So the Mac somehow knew that it had to output music sound only to the front L and R channels over the HDMI connection. After upgrading to iT11 suddenly the default speaker mode 3 of the BV10 sounded over the BV10 center speakers

  • Re: Playing music on BV11 via Apple TV - screen saver

If you want to control the ATV via remote app or just airplay stream audio to the ATV, you can use the A-PC command on the Beo4 to select the ATV as source. The effect is that the BV10 center speaker and screen stays off or switches off and the audio goes in stereo to the front Beolabs. Flere

  • Re: Is it possible to connect both BS5E and BV10 to BL9 set and control via Beo4

Millemissen, Thanks. I googled the switch. Thanks for the pointer. For the Beo4 control of the BS5E and the BV10 separate, will they not both react to the commands. I can circumvent this by always switching the one off before starting the other? Regards, -Flere

  • Is it possible to connect both BS5E and BV10 to BL9 set and control via Beo4

Normal 0 21 false false false EN-GB JA X-NONE Hello forum members, I am looking into buying the Beosound 5 Encore, but I am wondering whether it will work as I envision. What I have today is a Beo4 remote (year old with the joystick), a Beovision 10 and a pair of Beolab 9. To the BV10 is connected a - Humax 5200c (DTV button on the Beo4) - Panasonic Blueray player (DVD button on the Beo4) - Apple TV 3 (LIST A-PC or LIST P-PC on the Beo4) I’m not so happy with the ATV3 as the main audio streamer

  • Re: Differances between the playmaker and apple tv?

I have an ATV3 connected to a BV10 connected to BL9, all controlled via Beo4. ATV3 gets the music from a Mac via home sharing in iTunes. If i play music this way then also the BV10 speaker is used. I do not want this, the music should come only out of the BL9s Any settings which auomate this? I know I can select the right speaker mode with the Beo4, but it would be nice if music would always be played 2.0 in stead of 3.0. -F

  • Creation 5 app with Playmaker

Hi all, I have the following set-up: Wired Playmaker connected to a pair of BL9. iPad with Creation 5 app. All music files are on iPad, and also a copy of the music files is on the Synology NAS. Now the problem is that if I in C5 select - Type is Music - Source is NAS - Room is Playmaker Then I can select a music track and play, but the play/pause in C5 does not work. In other words, I cannot stop or pause the track. Also switching to another track does not work correctly. I thought that the C5 app
