  • Re: Bang & Olufsen app update

Basic functions for controlling TV would be nice. Better NL/ML converter functionality.

  • BLC - B&O app issue - V.mem missing

Hi, I have the following setup on ML: A BV8-40 as Video Master (option 2) A Besound as Audio Master (option 0) And some link room setup. I have attached a BLC NL/ML converter to the ML network to be able to use ML sources on a Beoplay M3 Speaker in another room. That works fine. And also to use TuneIn from M3 on the ML setup. That works also fine as N.Radio. A bonus with the BLC is that I know also can control my main BV8-40 with the B&O app (at least some of the functionality). What is weird

  • Re: Beoamp 2

Yes I have also guessed that it for 2 and for 16 (1 zone and 8 zones. But it still does say how it is intended to be used i a Beolink setup. Peter: You mention a control box. Which control box? If you just want an extra room with passive speaker in a pure NL setup with NL products elsewhere in the house. How do you then utilise the Beoamp for that. And yes I know ti will be the amplifier for the speakers.

If you then need the BLGW then I do not really see how smart it is just it will be very expensive.

  • Re: Beoamp 2

I am stil thinking how it actually will be controlled and work in a Beolink setup? I simply has not seen any description on how it works, how is it controlled and connected to what besides from the passive speakers. I have today a Beolink Passive with passive speakers in one room connected to my masterlink, but is I get new products with Beolink NL, then I still need something for my passive speakers. Yes I know I can get a ML/NL converter, but if is skip the beolink. Can I den use the Beoamp 2 instead

Do you have any idea about how it is controlled?

Where can I find information about Beoamp 2? Is it a Beolink product?

  • Re: The new Apple TV has IR-support!

This is probably because you touch some button again. Any button will turn the TV on. With B&o it works best if you turn the feature to switch on the TV off since it will not turn on the correct source. Volume up and will still work fine.

  • Re: Multiple NL products in one setup?

Beoplay V1 is also supported. See answer from FAQ on then Bang and Olufsen site: Yes, you can connect your music system to your BeoVision 11/BeoPlay V1/BeoSystem 4 using the BeoLink Converter NL/ML and get sound distributed to other rooms. Note that your TV must be updated with software version 1.0.3.30552 or higher. This setup requires that WAKE ON LAN must is set to ON in the television NETWORK menu.
