• Re: Bovision 12 NG installation

The TV is amazing but the delivery experience is not. Trying to investigate afterwards which parts are missing from the delivery is pretty annoying. Especially without the manuals. As an example the online Beosystem 4 quick start guide mentions the enclosed rack mounts and wall bracket. All I received was the Beosystem 4 box, the screen, a Beo4 and cables to connect BS4 and the screen. The cables looked like office surplus of cat5 cables but I was told that the TV is delivered without cables to begin

It was 1 hour after delivery. Delivery was already included. Still, I agree they did a good job. One problem though, was that they did not bring the Atlona Box and the manual actually says that it "must be connected and set up by your Bang & Olufsen retailer." So maybe I will see them again. I handed over three folders containing several different guides that came with my BV7. All in excellent condition. Have B&O stopped delivering guides on paper with their products since my previous

The Beolab 3 in the picture is mainly used as "Right Surround". it is accompanied by it's twin on the opposite wall and 2 BL5. I always rotate 90 degrees to watch movies on a "Big Screen" in the other end of the room. Watching Gravity on the BV12 screen tonight was an exception. The PQ was amazing from the BV12, but I still prefer the much bigger picture from my projector for serious watching. The job is done from the installers. They did a good job and delivered at least
Think it depends on the terms and conditions you negotiated with the trade in. If your BV12 is second life, I think you cannot expect that the former owner kept the packaging materials. For the manuals you can easily check the Internet. May I ask why you didn't inform the installers up front regarding the absence of an elevator?
Elevators are not at all common in the 19th century building of central Copenhagen. My address on the invoice says everything

  • Bovision 12 NG installation

Today I took delivery of a Beovision 12 NG. Three installers arrived and started the mounting after recovering from the climb to third floor. I think they were a bit sad to learn that there was no elevator. It replaces my Beovision 7-40 mk. 3 and the TV was chosen primarily for it's external Beosystem 4 box. This TV is actually a trade in from another customer who upgraded. I guess some people gotta have the latest as soon as it get's out. I think maybe an 85" went up somewhere and this

  • Re: Awkward....

Sometimes it is even difficult to know the current product line. A few weeks ago I walked into a B&O shop after requesting a Beosystem 4 demo on the shop's website. The owner of the webshop greeted me as I entered the shop. I told him that I was here for a Beosystem 4 demo. He replied Beosystem 4...? What is Beosystem 4 - We do not sell anything called Beosystem 4. I tried again, yes you do. Beosystem 4 the stand alone box containing Beosystem 4. Then I asked for the person I had been communicating

  • Re: Avant (New) frustration.

Hearing about this issue I have to add a comment on a general level. This is exactly why Beosystem 4 needs to be a separate box. Then you once and for all pull one hdmi from beosystem 4 to the TV. After that all your devices can easily be attached and detached as needed to the beosystem hidden away somewhere.. If you don't want a separate beosystem 4 then attach that to the back of the TV.

  • Re: B&O need to address their B&O Play website

Beoplay is a webshop but you can't buy the V1 online. I am not affiliated in any way. I just found some references in the site's source code: The site is build on Sitecore CMS by Alpha-solutions.dk. They were awarded "Sitecore site of the year, Denmark, 2013" for the Beoplay site. You can read more about the case on alpha-solutions.dk. I agree - there is room for improvements. I am not going to bore you with details. But the very first checkpoint in my book is the page title. It
