• Re: Has B&O lost the plot?
Fair enough, everyone has an opinion (...) B&O is not perfect, and not beyond criticism, but when you stop and look at the alternatives - not a lot stands out to be honest. Hence I intend to remain a customer, loyal but not blind to B&O, as long as the company stays around - and long may it do so - it has a tradition of excellence on all levels that is seldom matched by any other AV manufacturer I've ever had experience of IMHO. Kind regards John... [/quote

 • Re: New blog/article from Geoff Martin
(...) In fact I'm sure most of us here are members of at least one or two other HiFi forums, so it could be a real help to B&O and to Geoff to get the message out by linking to other sites perhaps. Kind regards John...
I'm already doing this: http://www.myaudioshop.si/forum_slo/posti/high_end/bangolufsen_od_iskre_do_ikone/page/1/#pid399
Alen, it's been a while since we have seen your apartment - now looking great with the BS2. Are you still enjoying your BS5? Do you use the CD ripping device as a CD player or is it only for ripping?
Thanks @Aussie Michael. Position of the Beosound 2 is temporary, only for a photo purpose. I bought it for a desktop speaker. Long time ago I ripped my last CD's. I am now only in lossless 16 or 24 bytes files.
Nice setup Alen! how do you like your 12-3’s? Any reason you have them on stands and not on the rear wall? How do you think they compare to bl18’s?
They look fantastic, and they almost disappear in a room. BeoLab 12-3 on floor mount looks like a penguin, but sound is great. I don't know BeoLab 18 very well.
Game mode is always on. Helps a bit. Is there a film mode on a bv8-40? Where?
Ok here we go again. - Press the MENU button on the Beo4 remote control to get into the ‘Setup Menu’. - Place the cursor on OPTIONS. Press RED button and within 3 seconds press GO. - Turn off FILM MODE in the adjustments menu!
