    The two fuses 400mA are only for the +/- 9V supply used. This voltage is used in every amplifier module for filtering and the L.F.Board which sits right near the transformer with the two fuses which is mostly used to control the volume and sound settings. Normally there's no big load to this dual voltage supply. Most probably one amplifier board is the evil. So i would replace the two fuses an disconnect both amplifiers (just one plug). Now turning up the volume via the remote sholdn't do

    Hi, concerning the non IR receiving LCS9000 / Beolab 3500: It's the board with the display, IR receiving diodes, the touch switch (Timer and Mute) mounted. There sits a chip in the lower left corner which has a printing on it: U2506B This is the same chip as in the LC2 dimmer. Now read the excellent fault finding description of Frank and do some transfer work. This leads you to the SMD capacitor C18 which is connected to Pin3 on the U2506. The original one is a 22µF 6,3V so get the same

    Hi, if option setting shows no help then it's most probably a SMD capacitor on the IR / Display / Touch-Sensor Board: See here , i had the same problem once. It's fixed now :)

    Hi, they should be in sync because the Beosound doesn't delay the audio. The same applies to the masterlink connection.

    Hi, the Link Option programming is stored in the Beolink passive box. So you could also try to swap them between the two rooms if they are accessible..

    Hi Luke, the version that did not support the AudioMaset Mode was the 1614 Beolink converter. The 1611 Converter works fine.

    Hallo, der Beolink Converter 1611 arbeitet als Audiomaster, wenn am Masterlink sonst kein Audiomaster vorhanden ist. Wenn er dann alleine die Kontrolle übernehmen soll, so kann der AUX-IN Anschluß über den Masterlink Bus nur über ein _VIDEO_ Kommando aktiviert werden, also z.B. TV, SAT/DTV... Jetzt gibt's aber dann das Problem, das der Beogramm CD keine Steuersignale mehr erhält (PLAY, STOP, NEXT TRACK...). Er kann also nur manuell am CD Spieler selbst 'gesteuert

    Concerning the second room: The IR Receiver receives the IR signal and sends it to the Beolink passive /active ... The device where the IR receiver is connected to, triggers the LED after receiving a valid IR code. If the keys on the IR receiver create an action, the IR Receiver is probably not receieving a valid signal. This leads me to the dreaded SMD capacitor for the IR receiver chip ( C10, 22µF 10V ). You could try to swap the IR receivers and see what happens: if the fault moves to the
