• Control of BeoLab 50 using the BeoRemote 1, how to pair?

«Note that, in order to control the BeoLab 50’s with the BeoRemote 1, two things must initially be configured. Firstly, the infra-red receiver (also known as an “IR Eye”) must be correctly connected to the Master BeoLab 50. Secondly, the BeoRemote 1 must be set to the “BeoSound” product on its display. In addition, the BeoLab 50 must be “paired” to the BeoSound product (since there are multiple BeoSound options).» but how do you pair Remote1 with

I have the exact same issue with my BL50. Last time I was away for one week and when I was back my APP could not find the BLs. • New SW Release Notes

There has been a new SW realease for my BeoLab 50, but can’t find any Release Notes. Where can I find B&O Release Notes? “ Release notes are documents that are distributed with software products, sometimes when the product is still in the development or test state (e.g., a beta release ). For products that have already been in use by clients, the release note is delivered to the customer when an update is released .”

  • BeoLab 50 issues

I deceided to buy a pair of BL50 based on the Technical Sound Guide dated April 2018 and the good looks! I received the BL50 in July and by that time both the SW and the APP had been changed to new versions. I am using the BL50 as a “stand alone” no other B&O products controlling the BLs, only the B&O APP. This has proved to be a nightmare. Very little of all the goodies promised in the Technical Sound Guide is accessible an even basic commands such as volume and on/off is difficult

  • Re: BL50 again software update problems - flashing master - nothing happens

I have experienced all the issues reported here except the click noice. I must admit that with the latest SW up date in December together with APP it started working better, except it is now possible to mute the speaker without any indication anywhere ! How is it possible to release a SW and not test even the most basic function like, mute!?

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen in 2019... Your predictions?

Harman know a thing or two when it comes to milking a brand. Extreme short term profit is the name of this game. They will stick the B&O logo to what ever. Just look to the automotive “products” from Harman B&O that started out in premium cars and can now be ordered in entry level Fords.

  • Re: Financial Times “Bang & Olufsen dives 27%”

Long time ago B&O was a leading pioneer in design and tech research. This ended during the early 2000s; now they are selling overpriced luxury objects with a baraque and questionable design (to be rude, many products seem to be designed for Saudi Arabian market) and a medium level technology.
Er, just to check - you have heard of the Beolab 90s haven't you?
You have to finish the design before you release the
