• Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony
Hopefully this approach will also find its way to the new soundbar! Using BeoRemote + the Beo Sound Center/NL with an LG-panel of choice would be +++
This. I look forward to knowing more about this control strategy. Thank you 1990. Olivier

  • What is this?
I suspect something like this: https://www.flatpanelshd.com/pictures/lg219movingspeakers-2.jpg „Magical movement“ Full article would be this one: https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1545120142
Hello, I vote for this one as it would be a walk around for reintroducing the now lost curtain effect. A mechanical curtain would bring back the iconic feature - without the need of developing specific TV embedded HW/SW - together with the

  • Re: The LG 2019 OLED gets WiSA-based wireless Dolby Atmos audio.

Hello, I’m not sure if the following questions have been already replied in this long thread, in case my apologies. 1) When is it expected to have the LG WiSA stick available in the market? 2) Expected price? 3) What if this dongle is connected to a non-WiSA BeoVision? Would it make it the same as a more recent BV WiSA-equipped set or would we have some trade off? Would it make a B&O Transmitter redundant? Thank you! Olivier

  • Re: Is it possible to voice control older TV sets?

I was trying to understand a bit more of this limitation. It is due to the lack of HDMI-CEC ports, correct? Cheers. Olivier

  • Is it possible to voice control older TV sets?

Hello, First of all I’d like to wish all the best to the Forum and to B&O for this 2019. During this holiday season maybe I had a bit too much time to relax and I have been observing the rise of the smart speakers, such as the increasingly popular Amazon Echo, Google Home, Sonos One and, last but not least, Beosound 1 and 2. I have read that some of those speakers are able to allow the voice control of many devices, including TV’s. It seems like it should be quite easy if the TV has built in

  • Re: DAB radio information screen/tile on BeoPlay V1

Radio: same screen as the opener, black display with radio channel in the middle without any logo. Netradio: same as shown by MM, radio and logo displayed on the right side of the black screen. I’m in Italy. Cheers. Olivier

  • Re: Buying a Beoplay V1 32, something to be aware off? Known issues?

Hi Master, I’m a bit late but I would like to provide my feedback as a newcomer, I have 40” V1 since few months. Initially I was looking for the 32” as I find it more balanced in terms of looks but then I opted for the 40” option because of the better audio system (the 32” lacks the subwoofer). Then it is up to your budget and available space at home. For what concerns the issues you are referring to, maybe I’ve been lucky (knock on wood!) but my 2012 V1 works quite well without major issues. The

  • BeoPlay A6 removed from the website

Hello, I’m not sure if I’m the first one noting this. It looks like the A6 is out of stock from the B&O website, while there is no more mention of it in the product list. It was the only all-in-one stereo system in compact size, the remaining non-BT speakers can offer multi room but not stereo paring. I must admit I’ve been tempted to get one in the past few months, despite of some minor weaknesses. Should we expect an update/successor in the near future? Cheers. Olivier

  • Re: BeoPlay V1-40 wireless connections

Yes, you are correct. I have both Radio and NetRadio options but I just wanted to learn how to configure Sources and Beo4. Today is TuneIn embedded app, maybe tomorrow will be a different source. :-) Is there a way to set TuneIn app with the A.Mem button? Cheers. Olivier
