  • Re: Beoworld app

Hello CB, I haven't properly explained the two issues, my bad. 1) When I try to login from the Beoworld app, iOS, I receive the "Login Failed" message I have previously attached, so yes, there is no chance to post anything at all because I cannot even login. 2) I can successfully login from Safari and Chrome, both from iOS, but then when I try to add some pics I remain stucked in the Insert Media window. I click on the Diamond but then the Loading… message remains without showing

  • Re: BeoPlay V1-40 wireless connections

Thank you MM! I will consider the speakers suggesiton for the future upgrade! I have now added the pictures: do you (or other user) know why the Tyco antenna is not fitting in the channel? Am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to be placed in a different position/area, outside the TV? Cheers. OliverC

  • Re: Beoworld app

Hello, maybe it's just me but I'm unable to post pictures from iOS devices (iPhone and iPad), regardless if I try from Safari, Chrome or the Beoworld app. Hereunder the error message I receive from the app (now I am posting from a desktop pc). When I try to post from Safari or Chrome, the files in my account directory are not shown. More specifically, when I click on the "diamond" the "Loading..." message remains, regardless if I am connected via wifi or 3G/4G, and the

  • Re: BeoPlay V1-40 wireless connections

Dear All, I am glad to announce I’ve been able to find a BP V1-40 and I’m happy with this set so far, despite of the fact I’m still learning. At least I am now able to answer to some of the questions I have originally posted. The Tyco antenna is almost always included, however it is safer to ask before buying. It is a dual frequency 802.11n WLAN. In addition I would also suggest to ask if the PUC cable is included. Mine didn’t but I have solved thanks to Steve @SoundsHeavenly

  • BeoPlay V1-40 wireless connections

Hello, I’m still quite new to the BeoWorld, I’m just starting to dip my toes, therefore pardon me in case my questions might sound a bit naive. I am currently looking for a pre-loved white BeoPlay V1-40 with the ambition of using it primarily as a wireless speaker for streaming music (Apple Music, Spotify, TuneIn) via Apple devices (both iOS and macOS), for an old audio system via Airport Express, then as a tv player of streamed content (Netflix and NAS). Hence my questions. 1) I thought

  • Is it possible to voice control older TV sets?

Hello, First of all I’d like to wish all the best to the Forum and to B&O for this 2019. During this holiday season maybe I had a bit too much time to relax and I have been observing the rise of the smart speakers, such as the increasingly popular Amazon Echo, Google Home, Sonos One and, last but not least, Beosound 1 and 2. I have read that some of those speakers are able to allow the voice control of many devices, including TV’s. It seems like it should be quite easy if the TV has built in

  • Re: Minimalist BeoGram Hi-Fi system

Quick update: I've just received the BeoPlay S3 complete of the original package and I'm quite exited as it is the 1st B&O product I have purchased. Now I can definitely say I have dipped my toe in the BeoWater! The package is very nice, I have quite a few Apple products and I assume they look at each other as there are similarities on how they present their own devices. The product looks rock solid and heavy (good sign for audio stuff). I really do like the buttons, the texture of the

  • Re: Minimalist BeoGram Hi-Fi system

Hi Peter, thank you for the prompt response! I am currently considering turntables with the built-in RIAA preamp as I'd like to go the minimalist way, less extra parts as possible. I am open to consider both B&O and non-B&O options as it follows. Pro-Ject Essential III Phono, about 300.00 EUR. Pros: new, cartridge easily available, low-risk buy Cons: not a B&O..., less interesting design IMHO BeoGram 3400, starting from 500.00 EUR --> I'm considering EU sellers only, extra

  • Minimalist BeoGram Hi-Fi system

Dear All, Here’s OlivierC, I’m a newbie from Italy and I am reading this great forum since a while, thank you as this is a gold mine of information! I have in my mind a small gift for my sister who’d like to listen to some LP’s at home. I am taking inspiration from a couple of older posts as it would be preferred to have a visually inobtrusive solution (the less components, the better) and straightforward for random usage. Here are the sources of inspiration, thank you Saint

  • Re: The LG 2019 OLED gets WiSA-based wireless Dolby Atmos audio.

Hello, I’m not sure if the following questions have been already replied in this long thread, in case my apologies. 1) When is it expected to have the LG WiSA stick available in the market? 2) Expected price? 3) What if this dongle is connected to a non-WiSA BeoVision? Would it make it the same as a more recent BV WiSA-equipped set or would we have some trade off? Would it make a B&O Transmitter redundant? Thank you! Olivier
