  • Re: Copy Beoremote one to another ?

My experience of BR1s is the config lives on our Beovision 14; as you pair a new BR1 using bluetooth, the config is synchronised to the new BR1. We have 4 BR1s all paired to the one Beovision 14, they are all exactly the same. A recent SW update on the Beovision 14 also pushed a BR1 update and each BR1 was updated. Not sure about IR functionality - we dont use IR with the Beovision 14.

  • Re: Issue with AppleTV after upgrade to tvOS 13

I have the exact same issue with the iOS 13 upgrade to my Apple TV on my Beovision 14. It wont power up from the PUC / IR Blaster - but once on from the Apple Remote it will take commands from the BeoRemote One via the PUC / IR Blaster... also no response from the suggestion of the Green button (but thanks for the suggestion). However, I could power up the Apple TV if I selected Apple TV on the BeoRemote One, then hit LIST and selected HOME on the BeoRemote display!! So it is an extra step, but it

  • Re: Does your BV14 green light come on randomly ?

Yes my BV14-40 has the green light coming on all by itself. The first time I noticed it was in the dark in the wee hours of the morning. Back then I had a mild panic attack, these days I just leave it to do its thing. It is not that frequent, but I do notice it. I am assuming it is doing some kind of update check, or possibly one of the connected devices (Apple TV or Sony BluRay) has done their own update check and woken the BV14 via HDMI or Ethernet. Me and the BV14 have come to an understanding

  • Re: BV14 offline why ?

Did the recent BV14 software update make any improvements? On Thursday 6 Dec my BV14 went from 7.0.209 to 8.1.013. It was our first upgrade since installing it 3 months ago, and while exciting to watch the upgrade, I cant tell any differences other than volume control is more laggy on the Beoremote Ones. Curious the release date was: 2018-11-02 and I very regularly check for updates. I was hoping for an Android update, but as far as I can tell I am still on Nougat. I still have always had red on

  • Re: Horizon 40: slow, unresponsive, complicated

My Beovision 14 had a major software upgrade on Thursday 6 Dec. It went from Version: 0.7.0.209 to Version 0.8.1.013. This was the first upgrade we have had since installing it 3 months ago - it was very exciting to watch! Did anyone's Horizon get an upgrade? I assume the software is similar given the Android TV platform. I can't tell any differences. If anything, volume control is now more laggy on the Beoremote One. Despite the upgrade, it seems to be the same version of Android TV Nougat

Hello lausvi I dont have any experience with the svideo output. But one tip is to get an integrated svideo to scart cable, or integrated composite to scart cable. That way you can slide the cable area cover back on the BC1.

Well spotted! Indeed it was an AppleTV on the BC1. It really prolonged our use of the BC1. I used a combination of a: HDMI to composite video converter - roughly the same size as the Apple TV A composite video to scart cable to connect the converter output into the BC1. Image quality was excellent, so long as you are happy with Standard Definition and a black bar at the bottom (being 16:9 format). I did find that the quality of the HDMI converter did matter - some have less contrast than others.

Snap!! So what is the probability of two Beovision 14 - 40s being installed in Melbourne on the same week? Hard to tell, but is yours with the Parisian Midnight Blue front cover? This ours, replacing a Beocenter 1 that was getting on to 17 years old. The Beolab 6000s are also 17 years old, but have found some new vigor since the upgrade. We can hear things (good things) that we couldn’t hear with the exact same music and videos on the exact same speakers on the Beocenter 1. A new generation teaching
