• Re: Troubleshooting NL/ML - ML\MCL setup - 5 rooms
Looking at the pictures I presume BLC were used as “active speaker kits” and the MCL/ML or BeoLink Passive as amplifiers.
Agree. If there are really 4 (!?) NL/ML converters, they all should appear in the Beolink app... BL passives work as amplifiers (like MCL2P) connected to Powerlink outputs of the 4 converters, and IR receivers also connected to NL/ML converters. Tom, can you take a photo of the connection panel of one of the converters? And

Sounds like an MCL setup updated to Masterlink, then updated to NL. With BV11 and Essence as av sources, an NL-ML converter connected to to 4 BL passives connected to passive wall- and ceiling speakers. Stefan

  • Re: BL2 and Loewe TV

I have no experience wit Loewe audio link adapter, but I know Powerlink audio signal is PIN3 and PIN5 (Brown, Green). GND is PIN2. I`d first try to use RCA left/right outputs to feed the BL2 and then connect Bl8000s to PL output of the BL2. And yes, as BL2 needs the additional ground on PIN7, I`d connect both GNDs. You will find more info about Powerlink in the ML handbook, starting page 101... https://beointegration.com/uploaded/EN-BeoLink-handbook-v1-9.pdf Hope this helps Stefan

  • Re: Beolink Passiv

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 Mk3 and Beo 4 questions

If you pres STAND the word should be displayed in white letters on the right front of your BV. If it does, the stand should be connected correctly. Now you can select a position by using the number buttons (1-left....9-right) or use the cursor buttons left/righr/up/down. The navigation button won't work. btw - check sw of your BV. With earlier BV7-40 MK3s it is not possible to use a BEO4 with nav. Button. Stefan

  • Re: Powerlink Conversion

Maybe a setup with two 1611 converters would work. As Guy already said, you can use your PL cable as an AAL cable (assuming it is a fully wired Powerlink cable). The pin diagram is nearly the same, so it won`t be necessary to resolder the plugs. You only need 6 pins (1-6), and the mid pin needs to be cut, I think (or drill a small hole into the AAL socket). The setup I think about is: Beosound 5 (Audiomaster, main room) ML -> ML 1611.1 -> AAL(modified PL)-> (link room) AAL (modified PL)->1611
