Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!
Thanks Duels. I had my doubts as whether to get the smoaked oak or the “natural” one, as the smoaked oak is the one they are selling with the brass tone stuff. I opted for the natural, as i have got almost only oak furniture in the house, and i think this also matches the brass tone beautifully.
Looks great. Really good with the oak front and BL19 which compliment each other perfectly.
Yup, works like a charm. Dolby Vision and everything 👍🏻
Does Netflix and or amazon work on the Eclipse? Seeing it has a button
Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
@Fidse Did you do the final test then? Connecting your bedroom C7 to the Sound Center? And how was the result? MM There is a tv - and there is a BV.
Not yet. But looks like it is on my shoulders now

Re: Is it wise to buy a BV14 today?
Connections to devices work perfectly and the sound quality is far superior on the Eclipse :) The Mybuttons are a downside tho’
Fidse Yes for the looks and the sound quality and connection to devices and all my buttons work etc But yes it’s a hypothetical question whether it is wise or not. 👍🏻
Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!
I posted this in a few threads already, but it should be on here as well. I love to flash my B&O, especialy now with the Oak front. The Eclipse and BL19 is now the perfect addition to my living room with older danish design furniture. Hans Jørgen Wegner would approve

Re: Is it wise to buy a BV14 today?
I say; why would you? The only reason i could see vs. the Eclipse Would be the design. On every aspect it is just obsolete, and when you add the Android vs. WebOS, it really should be a no-brainer But when you’re talking about the 14 vs. 11, I’m sure you’re into the looks. But have you seen the Eclipse with the oak front?

Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
I have a genuine question - with the exception of the new plastic back, just how "stock" is the C7 TV used for the Eclipse? For example - are B&O menus added as an overlay to the hmdi arc stream within the Soundcentre or are they in the TV firmware? Someone mentioned the other day that they can connect to the Eclipse using the LG phone app - are any of the missing features or updates available when accessed by app rather than B&O remote? I ask because

Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
Hi, right here i regret buying it instead of a second hand bv11-55. Imho the eclipse is not a total shitshow but it’s not far away from it. This is obvisouly judged by b&o standards, not the lg ones. However there are a lot of fixes/updates for oem lg c7’s that we don’t have on the eclipse. MY BUTTONS... My comments are about internal workings only as i do like the exterior. Also the picture itself is fine too. But yeah, there is a lack of actual quality for

Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
Where are the actual Eclipse owners, who have regretted their purchase? I think they are hard to find....
