  • Re: Question about Beosound Moment and Multiroom

I would say that is impossible since you can't chose SW version without special support from B&O. If your main use case is Spotify connect I would go for a BS core instead. Moment is tailored for Deezer, and without you don't really gain anything with a Moment, besides WISA and screen.

  • Re: Question about Beosound Moment and Multiroom

BS Moment had actually support for Spotify Connect in one of the official releases, but was removed in a later version. If I remember correctly this was before the rewritten SW, the bigger upgrade. As we are all aware, no new SW has been released in a long time. Today's SW is stable and has the basic functions, but lacks some functions that it has had. There is certainly a good reason for that.

  • Re: Wifi router recommended by B&O

I bought tp-link deco x60 mesh system about 2 months ago and never got it to work flawlessly with my B&O system. Last week I installed the unifi dream machine. So far it has worked without any problems. This includes two access points to cover the entire house. This feels like a very stable premium system, the only remark is that it requires perserverance during installation. It takes time to configure, so wait out the system so it's easy.

  • Meshed Wi-Fi network

Hi, I upgraded my WiFi network to a meshed network 2 weeks ago. I use TP-Link Deco X60 since then. Most products such as iPads, Laptops and iPhones behave as before the upgrade or improved as the signal coverage improved. My B&O equipment started to work weird. BS35 can no longer be part of a BeoLink Multiroom. It shows the content but no sound and if I use BS35 as the source the others show the content but no sound. Another behavior is that when I start music on a linked product from BS3k as

  • Re: Beosound moment to BV 11-46- can they connect wireless

Quick answer. If BS Moment and BV11 are connected to the same router you can chose BV11 as speaker for the BS Moment. By that they are connected together and behave as 1 system. I guess you need to make some settings in the BV11, at least that is necessary for the Android based BVs. BS Moment can be connected wirelessly to internet, but my experience is that it is much more stable wired connected.

  • Re: beosound 35

I have just updated my Wi-Fi to a mesh network with WiFi 6. After the update, all products work fine except BS35. Build in Deezer and TuneIn work as expected but linking music is partly lost. The music track and source is displayed but no sound at all. If I try to link what I play on the BS35 to any other speaker or TV it is the same. Information is displayed but no sound. I have restarted and reinstalled the SW without any success. Anyone experienced any similar and can the new SW be the cause?

  • Re: The BeoSound Moment is the best audio system B&O ever created. I will cry when mine stop working.

I have my MS Moment connected to a BV Horizon with external speakers. Works fine for me. Only issue is that I need to select the song twice before the tv/speakers turn on if I start it from Moment. No problem to select music, next song or adjust the volume when it is on. Sometimes when I have selected TuneIn after I have watched TV the sound disappear after 90 seconds. If I change channel it comes back for another 90 seconds.

I can only agree that the product idea is fantastic. A physical product with its own interface is superior to using a mobile phone. Mine is used daily to great satisfaction for the most part, but also real irritation some days. The dream had been a stable generation II of BS Moment with the same functions but with a focus on high-end sound. What I would like is to be able to wire connect the product digitally with the speakers and connect Bluetooth headphones. Maybe support for Tidal if it is higher

  • Re: Beovision Horizon + speaker 3

This is extremely easy. In the settings menu you will find Speaker Group. In that menu you can create any kind of speaker group you like in different combination. Try that.

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 mk1 DVI and Coaxial Audio in issues.

I think I know the reason for no sound. I had a BV7-32 mkI and the only sound that was compatible with the TV was 5.1 and not stereo. Try a movie and see if it works. I had a Mac Mini connected.
