Guys, I saw some more pictures. IMHO the new tv is a winner. The ceiling support is amazing (4 wires). The materials seem to be more interesting than the poor plastic feeling of the LOEWE. It's a little bit depth but I m sure that this will help the sound (and more over to hide the apple tv). The object is really cool. Great job B&O!!! I can't wait To see it in flesh!!!
How are the power cables, cable tv or satellite cables handled with

This article mentions wired and wireless mains?
It is a translation error from spanish (the leak source). You should read wired and wireless networking, with WIFI antenna built in the TV.
Thanks! That makes much more sense.

  • Re: Beo5/6 with AppleTV

When I connected my first Apple TV a couple years ago, I also noticed it had the learning function. What I did was connect an ir emitter as normal, but then set the puc to another device not Apple Remote. The Apple TV was able to learn the commands for the other device sent thought the ir emitter. In that way I was able to achieve many more commands with both the Beo 4 and Beo 5. For instance I had an individual command assigned to each number, 1-9 as well as other hard buttons.
Thank you. I saw that, but albeit brief. I'd like to see a diagram of where everything is (like the reverse side of the panel which normally shows them or the actual thing in a bit more detail. Paul, yes i have the orange frets and I also bought the yellow ones too. Yellow is too bright for me, it's not as cool as the orange or the green. But i bet the yellow will look great under the V1
The user guide is available on the B and O page. Maybe it has

I agree with you. I will say I think the V1 looks wonderful. I, have however, spent much less time on this forum than in the past and post much less frequently. I go to forums for relaxation and enjoyment, and to share thoughts from and with people of similar interests. That is what this forum was in the past. Sadly it has turned into not much more than criticizing B and O, complaining about the products, and predicting the end of the company. It is obviously fine for people to have those views.

...
Put it another way, I agree that it is silly to take anything on forums to seriously or personally. However if some members were more positive in their comments about B&O generally, and the TV's & V1 in particular, I for one may well have purchased one before now. When one is trying to sum up, qualify and justify a purchase, and is contemplating swapping out thousands of dollars

  • Re: Can B&O survive? Maybe soon?

I found the attached link somewhat interesting given the prevailing complaints here that B and O is not doing anything to attract younger buyers into showrooms. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151723759590637.855384.260322570636&type=3
No-one said they were "not doing anything" (that's a tad extreme). You could argue that you've chosen selective post reading to come to that conclusion :) However, those parties aren't happening in the UK so us Brits are right to say that nothing has changed too much here. There is some targeted advertising (Paul W mentioned the Coggles banners, which I also noticed), but they still need to get more people in to the UK stores (and also revamp
