• Re: BeoLiving news & support from Khimo!
Actually you can shut down on the starting screen. Just tap the device icon in a room
Wow thanks, I didn't know about that function either!

  • Re: BS Essence in an integrated setup with tv?

Yes I too had this problem. I now use the beoliving intelligence app which doesn't have this issue. It does require a beolink gateway however.

  • DIY Beo6 Battery gets hot

Hi all, I recently bought a pair of 1.2v 4/5AA NiMh 1200mh (2HHR120) batteries with solder tabs from akkushop in Germany, shipped to UK and have made my own battery pack to go in a beo6 I bought on eBay. This is the second pack I’ve made, first one works brilliantly in my existing beo5 using batteries from RS online, however this one hasn’t gone so well as the first... Like before I carried across the thermistor and wires from the old to the new, soldering in same way and finished off

I should add that I’ve tried charging the beo6 in the beo5 charger/dock and it’s the same; still gets hot,

  • Re: BBC Radio 4 TuneIn stream dead

I was able to access a direct stream from a BBC URL so I am hoping b&o can update the stream URLs in their netradio database. I suspect the reason BBC pulled out from TuneIn was to do with distribution fees rather than stats. They don't receive stats from traditional FM, DAB or freeview (DVB-T) and their streaming servers would be able to report on the number of connections and IP addresses without the need of a mobile app. The joke of it is that it's the other way round outside of the
Back again, got the newer version of bl3500 and it was sw 3.3 so I'm now in phase with the blgw compability, did not make any difference in the wireless 1 connectivity with bm5 though. Let's forget about the possibility to use them (wireless 1) in a blgw/masterlink setup and move on. Which I have and bought a blc nl/ml, a core and ordered a couple of beolab 18. Maybe I should start a new thread but I'll try here first; my objective is to replace the

  • Re: blgw + beolab 3500

Try the converter as a video master or Beocenter. With the latter you can map n.music and n.radio to your core. Once saved power off all your ml devices for a few minutes then turn back on with your audio mater first, followed link rooms.
ebnrob, figured out that I will need the same, multiple BLCs, and also power box. There the BL3500 could be setup without audiomaster. Have about the same thoughts about the setup as You have with a Core for TuneIn and the BM5

Well, as if the world hadn’t already ended with the loss of Radio 4 from TuneIn, neither can I play Radio Paradise! “This station is not available in your country.” 😱 What will B&O use for their demos now?!
Radio Paradise plays fine here. By the way, with this kind of posts, it is helpfull to state where you are located.....’in ‘your country’ gives no hint of that. MM [/quote

  • Re: BBC Radio 4 TuneIn stream dead

Ah okay! I’ve found that one on the Net Radio on my beovision 11, listening to the Police right now! sounds like another tune in licensing issue! I’ve never understood why B&O decided to rely on tune in when they had their own platform in place. Raise a support request. Mine’s been escalated to head office.
It’s American. It was often mentioned in the rather useful tutorials on B&O’s YouTube channel.
