• Re: New BeoPlay V1-40 or used BV7-40 Mk 3?

I had an mkiii and traded for 3d non DVD version recently; I agree mkiii picture is slightly darker which lightens over time when switched on but it never really bothers me; but the quality and craftsmenship of the 7 makes it a great looking tv; it makes a statement in your main viewing room I suspect the 7 would have a good further resale value if you want to sell and upgrade just the screen later on; the non DVD version is £600 cheaper but I am not so sure of the v1 The v1 is beginning to grow
Yes they exist and I have seen a photo of it on a red background. Which is probably going to be used in advertising. However I don't have a copy of it but it looks just as I described it.
not too dissimilar to a sonos zp90?

  • Re: Beovision 7-55 3D
Good choice. Best picture, sound and DVD player on the planet. Pay the man and fire it up. What are you going to watch first? Beovision 10-46, Belab 11, Beosound 8, Beocom 2 and a shed load of A8's and Form 2's. Oh and a Beo4 and 6.
Totally agree I have a740 3d and it is fantastic but the 55 3d is out of this world. Enjoy

  • Re: PlayMaker + BeoLab 3: Unboxing, setup and first impressions

KMA, beautiful pics with my compliments. I too have bought a PM. Couple of comments: Set up is reasonably easy. Dropout issues seems to have been resolved by reinstalling ios utility app and rebooting PM. Signal strength is weak for me but then i run ethernet through powerline adapters which is not an issue. Sound quality is much better than my Sonos ZP90. Very B&O. Build quality similar to Sonos. I dont see a need for more aluminium. Functional and clean look. Main disadvantage: Sonos interface

  • Re: beovision 10 40" & 46" discontinued
I agree with this and, yes, it's confusing for two reasons: 1) Once you perfect the design, the primary interchangeable part should be the panel. If a laptop maker can build an entire PC within a laptop case, I'm sure B&O can re-design a future chassis upgrade, without having to redesign the case to accommodate. I agree that the BV10 is a great design and has 2-3 years, with panel upgrades etc, of life left. 2) Bringing out new designs means that it becomes

  • Re: Playmaker; I really like it.

Dear all, I am having trouble with the PM and its driving me and my wife mad. 1. All our iOS devices cannot recognise the PM and cannot use airplay to play music. The iOS devices can register the PM after rebooting it but the connection drops soon after. Updating software and reinstalling makes no difference. My iTunes on my computer recognise it but we have ethernet over powerline adapters. Do you think it is a wireless signal issue? My Beolink app set up cannot register the PM. 2. Does anybody

  • Re: B&O Smart TV coming soon?
Prices/specs please, no matter how inaccurate or fictional. Another early Christmas present beckons i reckon, whilst the kids schooling goes on hold. Anyone here live near Manchester? Beovision 10-46, Belab 11, Beosound 8, Beocom 2 and a shed load of A8's and Form 2's. Oh and a Beo4 and 6.
Chris You might not necessary need to raid your kids education funds....prices are reasonable 40" 46" 55"

  • Re: BeoVision 7-40 without Blu-rays

Hi there, I have a 7403D non BR. The price difference of an internal BR is 2000Euros which is quite epxensive! Furthermore if you eventually trade in you will lose a lot of money. Mine is connected to a Sony s480 and can be controlled by the Beo4 (works best with navigation model). Why not wait for the forthcoming BV11? THe Beosystem 3 in 740 will eventually go... and the new BV11 will use the new v1 chassis. Its 4 to 5000 pounds cheaper with the same screen panel spec (200Hz LED 3D etc) including

  • Re: Playmaker dropouts my second unit being returned
Has anyone else experienced dropouts over wifi and unreliable direct ethernet connectivity? I replaced my initial device which definitely had issues, even during the initial setup it didn't behave as instructed. Unfortunately I think I'll be returning my 2nd playmaker. I have a very reliable and robust Cisco network without any issues at all with numerous windows and apple devices all being available when required. Never any issues with any airplay device, select

  • Re: BL3 + PM
Hi everyone. Ok, so I've done it. Purchased a pair of beolab 3s in white with the playmaker. I'm writing this post as I sit in my corner 1 and a half chair sip a lovely stefano lubiana primevera chardonnay and stream music from this iPad I'm posting on to the Play Maker. Every time I say the word playmaker I think of mentos the fresh maker. Anyway I digress. I was supplied with: - 2 white beolabs - 1 playmaker - 2 power link cords with Ethernet jacks
