• Re: Clouding Bv10 40/46

A picture is sometimes better than a thousand words... This is the best black screen I could get from B & O. Do you see the "Mickey Mouse ears" in the middle on top of the screen ? Gregory

To know if there's clouding, you need a totally dark room at night and in the service menu of the tv in monitor you choose "patterns" : black. Of course good eyes is also a must, my wife don't know what I'm talking about when I speak of the famous "clouds". But once you see them, it's for eternity. I haven't seen a single Bv10 without clouding from the delivery of my first one in april 2010 to the last one in the lets say six month ago. It will be interesting

That's true. B & O did it once with Beosound 2 worldwide. US market must be dying. Gregory

  • Re: Beovision 10 Sale

Two things here. First, US base list price doesn't include anything : no anti reflect screen, no stand, no dvb-hd, no remote. Even no labour like some americans stated before (you pick it up and you install it yourself in most cases). Second, we, europeans have prices includind VAT (19, 6 % in france). In the US prices are without VAT. Those two points make a lot of $ difference. Gregory

  • Re: Is it normal to hear a low fan noise on a BV10-46?
Plus the result was that the sound quality improved dramatically, so can't complain!
Oh, Oh, good to see that the sound quality improved only by a software upgrade. The mainboard and the panel (and the remote sensor) also been changed on my tv, what a job indeed. It's strange that your fans make more noise after the update, have you checked if they are not running too fast whith the new software ? Gregory

I can hear a very low fan noise on my BV 10-40. If I watch tv and the sound is on I forget about it. Nothing disturbing like Moxxey said. Never upgrade the software if everything works fine ! Gregory
