• Re: On the official website, new B&O BeoPlay TV V1

It looks like the non European versions have no HD tuners inside. That means as a minimum for the celing mount you would need to have a power cord, 1 HDMI cable and a PUC cable to the V1. Add a blue ray and add 1 more HDMI and 1 PUC. I think I see another wire sock design coming plus the C1 equipment cabinet. If we could only add wireless HDMI and power it could look like the photo.

  • Re: BeoLab 12 speakers in white

The CX speakers in aluminum suffered from a large number of cabinets being rejected during production due to blemishes in the finish. The solution to avoid writing off loads of cabinets was to introduce the speaker in white and grey painted cabinets. The painted versions used the blemished cabinets. Maybe they having the same issue with the Beolab 12?

  • Re: BeoCenter 2 Socket Unit replacement

I heard that once a Beocenter 2 player and socket are married together it is not possible to replace the socket unit. The player needs the original socket to work. I would check with your dealer. So if you buy unmatched units on ebay they will not work together.

  • Re: Beosound 9000 Help

Does the Beolink sensor bar as you call it have any red led's that are on? Does it have writing on it? It should say play at the bottom. If it is connected to an active kit that has mains power the led should turn green when you touch play. even with out speakers connected. The master link connection box in your upstairs photo should allow you to operate only one active kit. If the master link cables all fan out to different products they all do not need to be all connected for one to work. Is

  • Re: Beosound 9000 Help

The red lights on the Beolab 4000 should be on all the time. The button is actually an on off switch on the older 4000's and needs to be in the down position all the time. They should turn green if they receive an on command from the beolink active. I see in your photos of the main room there is a small master link junction box with ac cable to your 9000 on the floor. Did you connect this cable? It is very easy for either the three silver ground wires to break at the slot or touch some of the

  • Re: Beosound 9000 Help

As much as some here seem to think Masterlink is a secret best solved by a dealer tech I assure you with a few precautions it is ediot proof as long as you are not color blind. Rule number 1 Unplug all master link cables from the active kits and the BS9000 and any other B&O products in the system. Rule number 2 Simply unplugging the products from the mains does not replace rule 1 Rule number 3 Do not plug in power link cables from speakers into an active kit or beosystem with the system on or
I only needed one as I already had a cat 6 sheilded cable. I will go to the shop tomorrow and try and borrow a cable and see if it makes a difference from the beovision and then from the beocenter with 2x powerlink/rj45 cables
If you used CAT 6 cables those are not the same as B&O CAT 7 wires. In CAT 6 only the whole cable is shielded. In CAT 7 each one of the individual eight wires is shielded. This is a big difference. You will get hum from CAT 6

  • Re: Beovision 4-50 MK2 vs. MK3

Neither of those screens are the type with the bump on top. The 8951 and 8952 are early screens from 2002-2004. Those are all 720p maximum resolution screens. You want to get a D10 screen if possible type number 9089 They are 1080p with excellent brightness and contrast. The last screen with out the bump on top was a D9 type 9049. A few D9 panels ended up in the new frame with the bump and curved frames only made from feb-mar of 2008 type 9059. The D9 was also a 1080p screen but generally has a darker

  • Re: Beovision 4-50 MK2 vs. MK3

All Beovision 4's have a grey B&O label on the back that gives the serial number and the type number. It will also give a production date. From this information you should be able to determine the D#. Sometimes you need to reference the serial number. Example all D-X panels start after serial number 1XXXXXXXX. If you connect any panel to a Beosystem 3 the service menu of the BS3 will show you all the panel info on screen. Ex Monitor 1 = D10 serial Number 1xxxxxxxx, type number XXXX. The production

  • Beovision 4 -103" for $7,100.00 US

According to this link a 103" plasma sold for this amount. When the retail prices was in the range of $100,000.00 that's about a 93% depreciation? It's not clear if the Beosystem 3 and Beolab 10 were included or not? They are not mentioned. Does this mean plasma screens are getting moved out by customers? I still love the picture on my D10 50" http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-BeoVision-4-103-inch-excellent-condition-/160848920908?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item257357c14c#ht_500wt_1182
