    Comrades, I share this, not to go over old ground or my old posts but hopefully to be of assistance. Unfortunately I experienced similar problems some 9 months ago. I wrote to beocare on a number of occasions and received no reply. I then escalated to the CEO on three occasions and eventually had a teleconference established with two staff in Denmark.     Hi John I trust you're well. I have a mark 1 Avant- and generally I've been very happy with it. It did have some components replaced after a year but nothing significant. The picture is really lovely, the sound great. What I will say is that there now appears to be software incompatibility issues with the TV being integrated with a CORE and using multi room. I had difficulties for months, no reply from Denmark at all, not even an acknowledgement. I think i must be on a serial complainant

    HI I'll preface my reply by saying I've had endless software problems for years now.. I'll agree and say I think the speakers are great.The old music systems if you are not relying on software updates are also great. I won't buy any more music systems, TVs or multi room speakers, simply because the constant technical issues with software has driven me crazy! I can't spend all of my weekends when I'm home reconnecting, deleting/ adding products in the hope it might work. My

  • Further Software problems AVANT and multi room

    Hello For over two years now I'm been plagued by software problems with my various bang and olufsen products, including the beosound 5, moment , beoplay 1. This necessitated various correspondence with Denmark. After multiple requests a teleconference with Denmark was set up and my moment worked for about 6 weeks without any issues. Short version, stopped working properly and I took the product back for a refund. My latest issue is with my Avant 55 Mk 1 (which is still less than three years old

    Yes, mine had to be replaced after about 15 months. I now have issues where if i have the avant and core (as audio master) and use multi room music cuts in and out on the avant and speakers directly connected. Appears a software fault on the Avant somewhere. Trying to get a response from Denmark is near impossible. I'm still waiting, a month later for a response in relation to the ongoing software problems I had with my Moment. I returned the moment after 18 months of issues for a refund. I posted

    Lots of multi room issues? My system is no longer useable and has been this way for a few days now. Seems the great software team at B&O have done it again! Why is this just so difficult? Impy has rendered everything useless again? I'm giving up and going to SONOS- the software is bullet proof and works flawlessly. I cant be resetting equipment weekend after weekend!!!!!!!!

  • Ongoing Software Issues driving me to a Psychosis and return of my products

    Hello Comrades Recently I returned my moment for a refund, after 18 months of nothing but trouble. Only for a a couple of months did it work properly displaying correct artist tiles and album artwork. This was after installing the beta software and having assistance from Denmark with Twonky and QNAP Then in the last month, the beat software vanished from my unit and was replaced by a general software release. I asked to have the beta software back, only to be told I never had it in the first place

    Yes, seems all stores in Australia are closing and may/ will reopen/ relaunch at some point. I think its fair to say it has been a bit of a mess for Bang & Olufsen in Australia. I feel sorry for some the very good staff who have been less than supported. You would think Melbourne as a city of 5 million and Sydney a city of 5.6 million would be able to support a store or two!   • Moment and new B&O App

    Evening Colleagues Some months ago I reported on several issues with my Moment and in particular issues I was experiencing with DLNA via QNAP. Months on after chatting with XXX and XXXXX from B&O in Denmark we thought we may have been onto something and it was suggested I move to TWONKY instead of QNAP and that 'Expert Mode' would work properly, ie I would be able to add missing Artist tiles and add correct album artwork. They were very helpful. Twonky didn't solve the problem at
