• Re: BV10 46 and apple tv3 1080p
And they get it wrong (in my case) and end up having to visit twice, which costs the dealer time and money. In total, I've had an engineer three times since I received the BV10-46. Twice for PUC issues, once as the link room TV was putting the Sky box in to standby mode (a separate issue).
Totally I had similar issues with my Avant and gave up trying to get a recommended STB working after countless visits from service. And still nervous to get full integration

  • Re: B&O would like our feedback....

I like the fresh look but I have found that as well as the current phones missing there is no BeoPort, Beoplayer or reference the apps available from the Apple store Oh and a very large image of an early version of the Beo4 (SAT V-Tape A-Tape) in the connectivity section of Picture

  • Re: B&O Playmaker?
Use the A.Aux on your BS4 to connect the Playmaker
If PM is connected to the A.Aux of a BeoSound how do you control them with a Beo4 in the same room. As you use List A.Aux to select the Line in of the PM And A.Aux again for the Beosound to turn on the speakers

  • Re: B&O Playmaker?
Hi Yendys, Using the command A.AUX should not make any problems. You are then opening the A.AUX on the BS4 and on the PM at the same time. But the PM then autoreacts to the source you are using on it. As an exsample using AirPlay would then open the AirPlay-port of the PM (no BEO4 is needed for that), And the sound would go through the PM to the BS4 and if you wish out on the ML to other rooms. Greetings Millemissen
Very clear how it will work now Millemissen

  • Re: B&O Playmaker?
... to avoid problems if two items are reacting simultanously to "A.MEM" or "A.AUX" you can set the Playmaker to 3 different IR options: A.OPT 0 = No Beo4 or Beo5/Beo6 operation. A.OPT 4 = Playmaker can only be operated with Beo4 and Beo5/Beo6 in "LINK" mode - if Playmaker is placed in the same room as another audio system in A.OPT 1, 2, 5,or 6 or a MasterLink product eg BeoLab 3500 in L.OPT 5 or 6. A.OPT 5 = default setting - if Playmaker

  • Re: PlayMaker + BeoLab 3: Unboxing, setup and first impressions

Thanks for the review and you have a very nice setup KMA. Good to learn that the sound setup can be adjusted as it isn't mentioned in the manual or on any of B&Os FAQs either. I have one or order (waiting waiting.....) and also great that there's no issues streaming AirPlay to it in your setup.

  • Re: BeoSound 5 Encore

I'm sure you'll work it out What B&O audio master have you upgraded from? Also did you previously use a tablet to control any of your audio? Interested as I've been considering a BS5 for a while but find a dedicated iPad very simple to navigate my music but miss a more physical interface which the BS5 has

  • Re: Connect Beolink Passive to Computer to play music with passive speakers

Steve at sounds heavenly has a cable with power supply that turns on an MCL2P (a passive unit with no IR eye) and CX100s My son has it connected to an iPhone and use it for volume control. It works very well http://soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-beolinkpassive.htm

  • Re: COMPETITION TIME !!!
You mean like the ones B&O has been selling for quite a while now? IMHO they don't work visually nearly as well as the BL6000 wall brackets. The design of the 8000 simply doesn't want any bulk behind the cone. --mika
to be fare these are not easy to locate on any B&O/STB site I tried before I rearranged a room and thought I was dreaming..... so didn't use them unfortunately
